Chapter 26: Cheese And A Trap.

Sebastian’s POV

There was a silver lining in everything; good or bad or ugly, Dripped, dripped...

I watched as the lacerated muscles of my arm dropped my blood; thick and red, and soaked the torn sleeve of my white shirt, walking its way down my hand. I go over to my desk and gently, I level in my seat, thinking of the best step to take.

With closed eyes and a clenched fist, I summoned a spell for healing. I felt the magic come alive as the area where it kissed my broken skin burned.

"Argh." I groaned in pain.

But that was the best it could do, appear like a twinkle and die off. To be honest, it wasn’t helping even though I could feel my spell come to life.

Again, I tried healing my wound internally, and when I summoned the magic with enthusiasm, it died down just as it came alive for the umpteenth time.

I looked at my arm, not giving up, I closed my eyes to repeat the mantra. Over and over again, I clenched my fist and tested my healing affinity, desperate for a change.
