Jasmine's POV

“Sebastian, right?” Asher scoffed.

Thankfully, I had ended the call about a few seconds ago, before he said his name, else Sebastian would have patted his egomaniac shoulders for a job well done.

"Jasmine?” Asher called out to me when I ignored him. It was Crystal clear that he needed answers desperately.

"Babe, please calm down.” I tried to ease the tension already brewing in the room before I began my tale.

“Don’t tell me how to act when I only asked a simple question.” His voice was low but cold. From a distance, I could feel the anger and pain in it. "Jasmine, I need answers, now.” He added.

He was quickly running out of patience, and I, on the other hand, time. He only called me by my full name when he was not in a good mood, and that was what I snapped him out of lately, I always found a way of stealing his peace and replacing it with chaos.
