Chapter 50:Vacation Gone Wrong; Family O’Clock.  

Asher's POV

“Yeah.” I made a baby duck dance with my head. "We're good to go.” I took a last glance at the picnic setting. "This is beautiful.”

I felt so accomplished, and saying it out loud made me feel even better. In such a short time, I had fixed an exquisite family date for my lovely family. It was like a picnic within the home kinda vibe.

On the artificial grass, is a long and thick black sheet, spread across a good part of the field. Baskets of fruits and corn bread and juice were laid on the improvised mat.

I managed to whip a bowl of white chocolate cookies, a few pastries, and jugs of freshly squeezed fruit drink. They were Jasmine's favorite, and at every given opportunity, I always wanted to sweep her off her feet completely.

Jasmine was the first to come downstairs. She was looking... normal, to be honest, weird. She was wrapping her petite frame with her purple robe, and her hair was neatly packed in a bun, which was the only thing that she tended to, apparently.
