All through the drive, I couldn't concentrate on anything else but the petite lady in my car.

She seemed nervous because she was always rubbing her palms every once in a while, and also looking down, biting her lower lip.

How come such simple things she did made me feel uncomfortable?

It was a struggle keeping my eyes on the road when this structure was all I wanted to stare at.

" I didn't bring my clothes with me." She finally spoke, her voice sounding smaller than usual.

" Oh." I blinked severally, releasing the breath I didn't know I was holding.

" Well, we can always get you another one." I said and gave her a half smile.

Why do I constantly use the word *we*?

" O-kay." She said, doing that thing that she does with her lip, again.

" Could you stop doing that?" I didn't know when the words flew out of my mouth but by the time I did, it was already too late.

"Stop biting your lip. It's nasty." I said and she nodded.
