Chapter 52

Arielle's body was trembling as she sat inside Gun's car. She couldn't refuse when he insisted that she go with him inside his car. She didn't even know if it was his new boss' car or his girlfriend's car.

She was alone inside the vehicle as Gun briefly stepped out. She didn't ask where he was going. She just obediently followed him.

"Here. Drink this to calm yourself and stop your body from trembling. You look terrified." He handed her a small, cold bottle of water.
