Must You Do This?

Chapter 3

Three years later…..

The dining table was set already, his parents sat as they waited for him,

But Henry was not in sight and turned to the maid.

"Where's Henry? He asked.

"He's still in his room?" The maid nodded.

Mr. Benjaminz frowned and turned to his wife.

"Your son knows how to piss me off," he says, feigning annoyance.

"Be calm, Desmond. Our son needs to look his best."She replied, as she spoke the receding steps were heard as he walked down the stairs dressed in a nice suit ready for work. His cologne filled the room.

"You look handsome today, son." "Thanks, Mom, Good morning." he sat down staring at the table. 

"Why are you dressed for work? " His father suddenly asks, putting on a frown.

"I'm going to the office, isn't that obvious? Dad c'mon, it's too early for this, ok?". He replied looking at his mother, who signaled him to be patient with his grumpy father.

"You're not going to the office today, I need you to represent Benjaminz corporation at the seminar and we need to get you prepared. Other CEOs would be strictly there for the program." He said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Why? Can't Dave attend that?" He squeezed his face.

"Sure, he would be there as your assistant. But it is strictly for CEOs. Donald would be there to assist you. So hurry up and go pack your bags. The plane is waiting for you already." 

Both mother and son turned to him in surprise.

"You've already called the airport?" Adrian's face darkened in displeasure. 

" Why am I just hearing this now?" "Dave is aware, he's waiting for you at the tarmac already " 

His father, Mr. Benjaminz knew he would refuse so he had to pull a fast on him.

"I have meetings with some potential_"cutting him in mid-sentence.

"That has been sorted out already. So go now". His father flashed a smile which Henry found annoying.

 He stood up and grudgingly dragged his feet to his room to get his things ready for the abrupt trip.

"That's not very nice," Mrs Benjaminz says.

He feigned surprise," What? He has to be there to represent our company after all, I checked the listing and the despicable Ultimate Enterprise was listed amongst the companies coming for the seminar in Las Vegas" He says angrily. No one knows the reason for the fight but it's been years already, she sighs, 

It's been Twenty-one years already and the brawl between the two families had not been settled.

"Why have you brought me here?" She struggled trying to free herself, but the grip around her was tight,

She was pushed into a dark room, the room smelt of orgasm, which meant something had gone down in this room, she gripped herself in fear,

"What were they going to do to her?" She asked herself but before she could answer, the room lights up to show a man seated on the bed with his legs crossed,

"0h my gosh you startled me" holding her chest as it raced the more,

"You must be Lia? Hear you were the best dancer in this club?" He began, she had wanted to hear a subtle or coarse voice but surprisingly this man spoke fluently, she began wondering who he was and what it is dealing with her and the club,

He was seated, with brown tees and shorts, if not for the mask he had on his face, she could tell he was ravishingly handsome, his hairline was perfect, and his body build reminded her of a billionaire, she was still lost in her thoughts when his words broke in, intruding,

"You've been here for Five years and still haven't been able to clear off your debt." He added.

"Yes I have, " she replied quietly, Still not sure of what was happening, 

Taking a long look at her, he tossed a bunch of pictures to her,

"What is this sir?"

"You see that man in the picture?" He began, she took a good look at the young man, he had his back and side view but he looked handsome from just the little she could see, he looked well off and out of her League, if this was one of the home service assignments they assigned to them then he was not worth it.

"You are to take him down." He stated, She flashed and batted a few times as she raised her head abruptly at him,

"Him?" She was lost for words, " But who is he?" She asked again,

"That is your business to find out. You'll join me on a trip as soon as possible, I'm with no doubt he is going to be there" She wondered who she was talking to, a smirk appeared on his face, as if he knew what she had been thinking.

"Don't worry, pretty soon." Then he walked out. Leaving her confused and dazed on what just happened, she got out of the room, Marcus handed her a file,

"Everything you need to know u the target I'd written in there, go and pack your bags, you leave in an hour " he added then walked away without waiting to hear what she had to say,

"Now? She is leaving now?" What the heck is going on?" Her mind too stressed to process anything, she rushed to Hanna who had just finished her turn,

"I have to get going, she stated, Hanna instantly became confused,

"What's going on?" She asked, she took a deep breath and then explain everything in detail to her,

"But must you do this? Besides, you don't even know who this person is?" 

"Hanna, I don't give a damn, ok? If he's the one to my freedom then I'll gladly do it. It's just one person, not that I'll kill him as the boss instructed. Hanna looked at her with much pity in her eyes, she was brought here so weak and young but taking a look at how she had grown in five years is something she can't explain, she threw her arms around her,

"Do be careful ok? If things get tough, come back home ok?" She smiled,

"I'll be back soon, ok?" She left the club, darting into her room to find the best clothes she could wear. As soon as she was done, she took a quick shower and dressed in simple plain jeans and a yellow top which was close to washing off but she was comfortable in it.
