The Shadow’s POV:

Eleanor, the shadow, moved like a shade. Being a shadow didn’t just mean being silent, it also meant being invisible.

And right now, as she rushed through the Vine clawhold, she was a thought, silent, unseen, unpredictable.

She pushed her control of the weave to the maximum, Gold and Silver ran beside her in a flanking position. They moved fast, but also made sure that their footsteps were not visible in the snow.

When they reached the castle, a pang of fear rushed through Eleanor’s heart as she spotted the large number of wolves crowding across the now closed castle gates.

She led her charges forward until they infiltrated the crowd. Very soon, they all got the information they wanted.

Orion had walked inside the castle, and he had done so while being accompanied by an older alpha. None of the wolves knew who the alpha was, but the shadow did.

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   ARIA'S DEATH?

The courtyard froze as Lucien’s words reverberated around once again.Elder Lance’s face grew pale, his lips trembled as he spat blood, “Even if you win boy, do you really think this is going to end well for you?” he asked, gritting his teeth, “Do you think the council is going to stay on the sidelines and watch while you kill off an elder?”“Who said I was going to kill you?” Lucien asked, his brows furrowed as a faint smirk tugged at his lips, “No, I’m not killing you, Lance. I’m just going to make you regret ever coming here, and if the council does that too, then, I’ll make sure they regret it too.”The air around them was thick with dominance and fury, the scent of sweat, blood and fear filled the air.Lance smiled, “You are making a big mistake,” he said, his voice almost pleading, “You are going to regret this.”Lucien’s answer was a fist through his face, sending the elder crashing hard into the ground again. The sound of Lucien’s fist breaking bones filled the courtyard.Aria

“Yes,”The courtyard held its breath as Lucien’s reply spread across the castle. That single word hung in the air with so much power that it shredded apart whatever presence Elder Lance was trying to build. For a heartbeat, as the world grew still, the elder blinked, shock flickering through his expression as he tilted his head. The slip was quickly covered up, but it was there, and most wolves had seen it. The elder slipped back his civilized mask and once again began to try and persuade Lucien,“Think of it, Alpha Lucien,” Lance continued with a smile, “There doesn’t need to be any fight, nor should there be any blood spilled. Just give her over to me, and we will not have any problems. Besides, it will be easier for you in the long run.”Aria clenched her teeth, rage building up within her the more the elder talked and treated her like an object. Her muscles shifted, but Lucien held out his hand,“I’ll handle this,” he whispered in a soft tone,Aria nodded, she trusted Lucien, but

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   IS THAT A THREAT?

Aria’s pulse raced like it was on fire.It had been minutes since the shout had split the air, and the sound still echoed. Even now, as she and Lucien walked side by side, she could still feel the vibration shaking her bones. She wasn’t afraid, she was just curious. Her instincts weren’t screaming at her and just being close to her mate was enough for her to feel safe. The guards ahead opened the large door into the courtyard and they stepped outside,Lucien and Aria stopped, they were not going to walk another step forward. Lucien beckoned Varion over,“Tell Lance that this is as much respect that I can offer to him. If he wants to speak with me, he can walk by himself,”Varion nodded, bowed and walked away.Minutes later, the large iron gates of the castle opened and a pack of wolves walked in.Through the open gate, Aria could see that a crowd had gathered, but they all dispersed the moment they saw the wolves walking inside the castle.Aria’s gaze was directed only at one wolf – O

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   THE COMMAND

Warm sunlight spilled into the vast chamber of the Vine Castle. The golden glow touched the silk sheets that were tangled around Aria’s bare body. The morning sun bled through the tall windows and illuminated the room. For a minute, after she had awoken, all she did was lie still. She could feel Lucien lying beside her, his arm was draped protectively over her chest. The rise and fall of his chest was steady and peaceful. He was asleep. She turned to face him and smiled, the usual hard lines, the tension that was usually carved into his expression was all but washed away. Her heart softened as she watched him.The mate bond between them pulsed faintly, it was a gentle thrum in her heart, but it also enveloped her mind. She smiled as the memories of the night rushed into her mind.Once again, she felt safe… and whole. She tried to sit up and the moment she did that, Lucien stirred, his heavy eyelids fluttering at her motion. In moments, his eyes were open, and his smile was warm. His v

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   THE ATTACK ON ROSE

Rose’s POV: Rose’s day was going great, and her night was going to be greater, at least she thought so.It had been hours after she had left Lucien’s chambers, and she could not resist thinking about the last time she met Aria. She still could not believe that her friend was going to have a child.Outside her hut, she could feel the sky getting brighter. Rose needed sleep, she knew that, but she had spent the entire night so engrossed in the weave that she did not realize how fast time was moving.Right now, it was only a couple of hours to dawn, so she was trying to get as much sleep as she could. The moment her head hit her bed, she stiffened, her instincts pulled at her, and before she could sit up, she heard a knock on her door. Her eyes widened, who the hell was knocking at this time of the morning? She debated ignoring the knock, but before she could even decide what to do, a knock sounded again, and this time, she knew she had no choice, because she could recognize the woman k
