HEART OF A MOTHER

Kiara finally got to have her first ever check up,

When the Doctor showed her the heartbeat of her baby on the scan screen, she felt her heart melt,

Tears made their way to her face,

"Should we also check the sex of the child?" The Doctor asked, she looked Kara and then shook her head

"No, I want it to be a surprise" she said with a smile, Kara squeezed her hand,

"Okay" the Doctor replied.

On their way back home, Kiara kept looking at the photos she had been given of the ultrasound,

She couldn't help smiling, it was by far the most beautiful she had seen,

"Are you excited?" Kara asked

"Yes" Kiara turned to her friend,

"Prepare the materials, I want to be done with Henry" she added

"But, don't you think its too dangerous now?" Kara asked

"Thats the reason I want all this to end, my baby is growing, I need this to end as soon as possible so I can concentrate on my baby" she said, Kara nodded,

"I will prepare everything" Kara said.
