Chapter 14: Smoke him out

Lying on my bed, my hands behind my back, staring blankly in the ceiling. Not a ceiling really, the ridges of the rusty iron sheets. My mind was roaming far away from my body that had not moved since laying there thirty minutes back.

My own mind had turned against me and my heart was throbbing, out of anger and confusion, fear and regrets. The most dominant person on my mind being Gerald Wallace. He had crossed a line making me feel like a looser. Even if we got things back to where they were with Tessa there was a snowballs chance in hell I was going to forgive him. Not without giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Never before had my soul been overwhelmed by vengeance. I was thinking of every possible way to get my Revenge on him. And my weapon of choice was success. Not a gun or asking guards to beat him up no. He was the father of my lovely wife, family in that case but I wanted him to know that betting against Blake was a wrong move.
