EPISODE 6

ELIANA

The gentle breeze blew the strands of my hair, which had fallen out of place, over my face. I sat by the window in my bedroom that overlooks the wide courtyard, the view’s simply amazing and it almost left me breathless upon gazing at it.

The perimeter is littered with armed guards in black camos and they all look very intimidating. Two guards walk by and the second one comes to an abrupt halt then turns his head towards the direction of my window, our eyes meet.

His green eyes and dirty blonde hair shimmers in the afternoon sun as he stares up at me, his forehead creases when he narrows his gaze at me. Then the other guard he’d been with came back and his attention shifted to his companion. I couldn't hear what they were talking about, then the other guard left him and he followed behind but not before he turned back to me and gave me a wink and a crawling sensation ran up my skin.

The door to my bedroom pushed open and in walked the devil. His dark hair stood in a smooth disarray against the sides of his head and his shirt was rolled up to his elbow. Our eyes met when he crossed the threshold of my room and my body rose up on instinct. I watched as he crossed the room and came to a halt a few feet away.

“Is it to your liking?” Luca asks, his gaze turned to inspect the room before landing on me again.

I nod, “It is, I'm very grateful.” I tell him the truth because I was; the bed was a queen size Victorian style bed with bedpost and hanging curtains that matched the colour of the walls. The bed's comfy and smooth against my skin and the pilliow’s plush. It was everything that was not at the orphanage.

A faint smile curls his lips, “Good. You'll be grateful for a lot of things as well. If you're a good girl.”

His hand stretched out to tuck a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, the feather touch of his fingers sending goosebumps over my skin in both fear and something else, it made my stomach flutter but I felt the weight of his words as well. The sound of a promise and warning.

“You’ll be a good little girl for me, won't you?”

“Y–Yes.” I worry my bottom lip with my teeth, dropping my gaze from his. His thumb grazes over it, pulling it free from its hold then he traces it, spreading the moisture over my lips.

Then his hand moves and lands on my chin, brushing his fingers under it, he clips my chin between his forefingers and thumb, tilting my head back up so I'm forced to look up at him.

His eyes were glazed in a thick darkness that threatened to consume me as well if I looked any deeper but I couldn't bring myself to look away from his eyes. Even in his thick darkness the beautiful colours of his green and gold eyes inspelled me. Luca held a power over me that dragged me into his abyss, one that I couldn't help but get pulled by.

My body sprang to life at his touch as his other hand wrapped around my waist and I found myself moving at his will till my body hit the wall. I'm trapped between two hard ends, his shadow looms over me, blocking out the sunlight that spills in through the window and it's suddenly cold.

I'm reminded of just how large Luca is. His powerful height is not just tall but big as well and I feel like a kitten trapped by a predator, ready to devour.

“Are you afraid of me, little bird?”

I nod slowly because my system seemed to have melted. His cologne spams my nostrils as he moves in closer, the thick scent of wood and citrus makes my mouth water. I never thought anyone could smell this good yet feel so dangerous. His features were godly yet he was so terrifying.

But what was more terrifying was the feeling of warmth that was starting to pool at my core from his proximity.

“I’m the only one in this world you don't have to be afraid of, do you understand that, Eliana.” He says, his voice thick with something incomprehensible but it stirs something in my chest that sends a shiver running down my body.

I nod and he tips my head higher, “Use your words.” His word, a command that I follow seamlessly.

“Y–Yes. I understand.”

“That’s good. You have to know that as long as you're under my wing, no harm will come to you.” He promises, I don't know what it was but I found myself believing in those words. The words spoken from the mouth of a predator.

I nod, accepting his words because it's the only thing I could do. Then he leans in, his face coming so close to mine that our lips are almost touching.

“Kiss me.” He says after a while and I'm thrown off guard at the sudden request. He's so close, close enough to feel his warm breath fan against my skin.

“W–What?”

“Kiss me.” He repeats, indifferent, his eyes still dark as they waver from my lips back up to cage my gaze and my body starts to shake from the sight

“I–I…” I stutter, looking away, not knowing what to make of his request. No, it wasn't a request but a command but with the way he says it, a hint of softness crowning his words I shiver at the sense of being ravaged by this man.

After all, he made it clear that I was his, all of me, body and soul. A slave to his demands.

When I don't respond, I'm pulled by his strong arms around my waist and his fingers skims the length of my nape, digging into my hair and I clench my eyes and wait for it.

A minute passes by and I don't feel it, the pain that I was expecting from his rough tug against my hair, just like he did to me.

I don't feel the sting from a slap either or the hard floor against my skin.

I don't feel any pain at all.

Only the loose ends of my blond hair falling over my shoulders. I shift my gaze, my head rising to look up at him, he's watching me but does nothing. I feel his large hands in my hair.

And they're… combing softly through the tresses of my hair?

For a man so dangerous and terrifying, his actions right now were sending puzzle pieces of confusion through my brain cells.

“Don’t make me wait any longer, Eliana. You promised to be a good girl, didn’t you? Thank me for the room.”

His voice lowers an octave and I feel a pulse in my core. The rumble of his chest resonates through my body.

“O–Okay…” I dart my tongue across my lips and his eyes follow the movement, meticulously. Swallowing down my fears, I push my head upwards and stand on my toe a little to get a full access to his mouth.

When my mouth meets his, he captures them, tightening his grip around my waist and lets out an almost animalistic groan and I whimper against him.

His lips are soft compared to his toned build. I didn't expect his lips to be so… soft and sweet. Was that even possible to begin with? Or was my mind playing dirty tricks on me.

Either way, I didn't get the chance to think about them though because he plunges his tongue into my mouth. The thick length of his appendage fills my mouth and soon it finds mine. I don't exactly know what I'm doing but I instinctively follow his lead, our tongue twirling in a dance of dominance and in no time he's consuming my mouth.

It's almost getting hard to breathe because Luca's drinking up all the oxygen in my system, lighting my skin up like a fever dream. His body heat engulfs me completely and I'm melting into his arm. It's a strange feeling and my body's reacting weirdly to it. I feel hot yet my skin is consumed by a light tremor.

His fingers threads deeper into my hair and he kisses me harder, claiming my mouth like it's the sweetest thing he's ever had. He's drinking me up like a man starved of both food and water.

And when I can't take it anymore, my strength diminishing, I push one of my hands up and grip him by the shirt. I push up against his large body but he doesn't budge. My eyes start to sting and I claw harder, hitting against his chest and he snaps, releasing my mouth from his fierce grip and I breathe a mouthful of air into my system.

“Luca.” I breathe out his name as I breathe in air. But his hand palms my jaw before pushing it up, he leans in again.

Was he going to kiss me again? I haven't even had a proper break yet. But I couldn't say no to him, even though my body was heavily protesting against it. I knew I couldn't defile this man. Even though he had not been rough with me, he was still terrifying and strong enough to snap my neck at will.

But he doesn't, I'm taking aback when he rests his forehead on mine, “Heavens, Eliana…” He whispers in a breathy tone and I shiver at the thickness his voice possesses.

“W–Was it… bad?” I couldn't help but ask, my mind was running.

Luca laughs softly, the deepness vibrating through his chest. “Bad? No, little bird… if anything, your mouth’s the most delectable thing I've ever tasted.”

“H–Huh?”

He breathes, and pushes himself off me so there's a little space between us. He captures my face in his hand, thrusting it up so I could gaze into his even darker eyes.

“Kiss me again.”
