Chapter 18:

Click!

The sound of the safe opening sent an eerie tingle to Michael's fingers and toes as he was excited.

'Finally!' He murmured to himself. His eyes popped wide open as he slowly unfurled the safe.

Michael fully opened the safe and he felt his heart skip a beat. The feeling was that of opening a treasure chest.

'Wow money!' he whispered to himself.

The safe was filled out with money and a single notebook which looked like a diary

He picked up one bunch of cash and put it against his nose to sniff it. The scent of crisp notes sent a tingle to Michael's spine.

He puts the money back down and picks up the notebook. He opened it and a picture fell out. This made him develop a callus sweat. He glances around the room to see if anyone was watching him. He looks at Christina who is still fast asleep, then lets out a silent sigh.

He starts to go through the book and is stunned by what he finds.
