As soon as I heard Seraphina say that it was from me, I knew I had to stop Dominic from hearing any of this. She saw the effect of what I was doing to Dominic and lowered her eyes in fear; I felt Sebastian straighten just a little and knew if I tried anything, he would interfere, as is his duty to both Seraphina and me.
