The scent in the air caught my nostrils unaware. I froze for a second, my heart hammering heavily in my chest as I scanned the rest of the room with my eyes.

I checked around, trying to see if she was a ywhere around me but I couldn't catch a whiff of Andrea in the air.

But I did sniff Rosa.

How did she get inside the room, I warned her not to ever step foot into the room without my permission or knowledge. The clause I added was clearly not to make them feel eager to pry.
