"If so, how can we demonstrate this genuine love? Rafe asked me, and this has been the question that has been in my head for the last hour or so.

"The concept of pure love is quite unique, and I don't have a clue how to do it myself.

I mean, how do you show that you have pure love in your heart? And most of all, what does pure love look like?

"Maybe we should start with the definition", I joked a little to break the ice. Rafe just smiled a little.

Not knowing what else to say, Rafe and I fell into silence again. It was a long time before Rafe finally opened his mouth to say something.

"What about the hand holding?" Rafe questioned.

It was a question similar to those asked by elementary school kids who didn't yet understand what loving was and so on.

"Is this your idea of being a child again?" I asked Rafe and he just gave me a little nod of his head.

"Yes."

Rafe pulled my hand and held it softly. This was unique, even just holding hands now I had a fluttery feeling.
