Hello, My Lovelies! A New Month Greets us with more Adventures from our Boys! Thank you all so much for your love and support! Lots of Love, Alpha.
Alex''s Pov I stayed in bed all day. Not like there was much else to do. The reception out here was shitty so I couldn't use my phone. The chilling thought of needing to call for help and not being able to… come up every few minutes or so but otherwise, my mind remained blissfully blank as it wove in and out of sleep. There was a sort of calm after the storm effect. A sense of peace that came over me the minute Luca left. I couldn't exactly tell what it was. Peace of being left alone? Peace of accepting I was surely going to get killed now that I had blatantly defied him? Or maybe just peace of being away from it all. Away from school, Ryan, all of it. There was a piece of Alex left bawling his eyes out on that garage floor. He hadn't made it back here with Luca. And maybe that's where the peace came from. From losing a part of me. In any case, Peace brought sleep. A ton of it. It was late evening when I heard the sound of tires crunching in gravel. Luca was home. An
Luca's Pov I checked to make sure I had all the weapons I would need. Two fully loaded guns, two extra bullet clips, my set of knives tucked into various parts of my clothing and a taser just because. I slipped out of the car and headed for the house. They had neglected to leave a man outside to stand guard. They didn't know or didn't even expect they were being watched. Fucking rookies. It worked for me in any case. My plan was to take them unaware. A stealthy plan would be to maybe scale the building and go in through a window. Or see if there was another entrance round the back or through the garage that was left half open. But I wasn't in the mood for any of that. I walked up to the front door and knocked. The chatter inside died down. A gruff voice called out… “Who is it?" “Hey man, y'all left your engine running." I called back in a fake texan accent. I heard a whispered, "Did anybody leave a car engine running?” "How can you leave a car engine running d
Luca's Pov “Shit!” “Shit, shit shit.” The car buckled wildly as I tore through the forest path. My phone rang and I picked it up. “Number fifteen, Hansten drive. Small house, not many neighbors. Should be five to eight men present. Leader is a man called Rocky. Brown hair, average height, tattoos on right arm. If we're to question anyone, it'll be him. But questioning is a last resort. Copy?” Elias said in one breath. "Yup. Copy that.” I replied grumpily. "Sounds like you're driving.” "I am. I'm on my way there.” "Already? I'll be there in about two hours. Stopped to get supplies.” He said. "Alright.” "You good, Boss?” He asked warily. "Yeah, I'm good. Just fucking peachy." I spat out. There was silence on the other end for a beat and then I heard him sigh, “Instruction from the Big Boss is do not engage. Surveillance and information gathering only. Engaging and questioning as a last resort.” “I got that." “So you wait for me before you do anything." Elias said
Alex's Pov I tossed and turned throughout the night. Images of Ryan's beat up face kept flashing through my mind. His eyes swollen shut, his lips burst and bleeding. And that snap of his arm. In my dreams, the snap was louder. Impossibly loud. It reverberated along the walls. echoed through forests. It tore through my mind, shattering my soul. I woke up sweating despite the air conditioning. He'd tried to take advantage of me. If Luca hadn't shown up, Ryan would've taken me against my will. I shouldn't feel bad for him. He got what he deserved. Except I knew Luca would've beat him up whether or not he had caught him trying to take advantage of me or not. The punishment that came after my date with Ryan made sense now. I had thought it was because I had spent the night elsewhere. How naive of me to think Luca wouldn't have known my exact whereabouts. How much had he seen? Was he lurking around as Ryan and I walked into the seafood restaurant? When Ryan came visiting befor
Alex's pov The world passed me by. Luca had been driving for the past two hours. He was taking us both out of New York. I couldn't leave. I had school. I had a life. Not a very attractive one and half of it was now lying in a puddle of his own blood in his father's garage. The police could be looking for me. When Ryan's father and brother returned, they would only remember me being there. They would tell the cops about me and I would be the only suspect. Then the cops would ask about me at school. Details about my whereabouts wouldn't be hard to find. They could be ransacking my apartment again right this very moment. That was the only thing that made me agree to go with Luca. I was more than ready to have him pull the trigger and end my life if he wanted. But then maybe he was taking me away to try and protect me. If I got found by the cops, would they believe me if I told them Ryan had attempted to sexually assault me and then a strange man simply walked in to my res
Luca's Pov “I wanna go back." Alex whispered, his voice sounding raw and desperate. There had been silence in the car for over twenty minutes. Even my thoughts had gone quiet. Everything had dulled down to a quiet buzz in my brain and a low ringing in my ear as the road whizzed by.Apparently tired of staying quiet, Alex was beginning to stir. “Let me out.” He said again, louder than a whisper that time. "Shut the fuck up.” I replied through gritted teeth. "Where are you taking me?” He asked, his voice laden with fear. “None of your business. Now shut the fuck up." I shouted, thinking that was enough to quieten him up. “No." He said it simply, I glanced sharply in the rearview mirror at him. He was still huddled on the car seat, legs pulled up to his chin as he looked out the window. There were streaks of dried tears on his cheeks and his nose as well as most of his face was an angry red from all the crying. “Let me out. I don't want to go with you." He said again, his b
