Chapter 15: The wolf showed her canines

"You can't touch me like this," Zehra remarked, freeing her hand from the man, ending the flow of tingles. She isn't aware of what those tingles were for. It wasn't like the tingles you got when you were electrified, but some good tingles and every part of her body wanting it.

Zehra has been told that Northern wolves could only meet their mates by a strong, unique scent they can only smell. Whatever those tingles meant scared her.

"My apologies, my lady," the man spoke, letting go almost immediately.

Zehra sighed in relief as she turned to face him.

"I didn't mean to offend you in any way," the man said with a warm smile and heartwarming dimples. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Argus."

Zehra eyed him carefully. She thought that maybe Argus was Cade's twin brother or something since she could see the same resemblances and probably the age.

"You are his twin or something?" she asked him.

"No, we're not twins but half-brothers," he answered, correcting what she said.

"Whatever.
