Chapter 6

I snuggled close to the warm body next to me, too comfortable to move but knew I needed to get up. I sat up and stretched my arms before being pulled back into the bed by the strong arms that had held me the entire night, “Ten more minutes.” Dustin pleaded sleepily. I smiled at his plea but began prying myself from his grip. Once I was up, I went straight for the bathroom to get ready for the day.

When I came out of the bathroom, Dustin was turned over onto my half of the bed, making me chuckle a bit while I grabbed my planner from my bag and opened my computer. Glancing through, I was happy to see that today was a free day for us; the first meeting isn’t until tomorrow, so we have the whole day to rest and get our bearings around Brindleton.
