LEONARDO'S POV

I stumbled into my brother's office, the effects of one too many glasses of whiskey making my footsteps unsteady. Enzo sat behind his large oak desk, illuminated by the green-shaded banker's lamp beside scattered papers. He glanced up, one eyebrow raised over the frame of his reading glasses as I flopped onto the leather couch along the wall.

"Burning the midnight oil again, bro?" I asked, suppressing a hiccup. My words came out slightly slurred.

Enzo set down his fountain pen and leaned back in his chair, fingers steepled. "I could ask you the same question."

"Shouldn't you be sleeping with Lily right now?" I asked Enzo with a smirk.

He gave me a wry look. "I'm just finishing up some work, then I'll head to bed."

I chuckled. "Have I ever told you how lucky you are to have found a woman like Lily?"

Enzo's expression softened. "Every day," he said. "I don't intend to take her for granted."

"Nor should you. She's one of the good ones." I leaned back pensively. "Like Rosal
