“No,” I replied to Indie without hesitation.

I didn’t know what she wanted to talk about, but I wasn’t interested in having any conversation with her after messing around with my mate. I bet she enjoyed every single moment of it. There was no way I was going to let her mock me to my face.

She looked at me for a few seconds and, as she quietly turned around, I could’ve sworn she was on the verge of tears. I wanted to stop her and ask what was wrong, but my pride wouldn’t let me.
