Chapter 199

KYLIE.

I make my way back to the cabin and I make sure to take back roads incase Jessice decided to put a tail on me. I hate the idea, I mean I love and I trust Damon but the thought of him in that house alone with her, I mean it was one thing to come up with the plan, but actually going through with it, it took everything in me not to break character.

It's about thirty minutes before I get back to the cabin and I park the car but I don't get down. I take a deep breath and I rub my belly.

“You better not be stubborn like your dad, I don't think I have it in me to handle two of you.” I say and then I let out a smile.

I remind myself that ever since I met Damon, everything that he has done has been to protect me and now he's doing this to protect our family and to get our pack back, I just need to keep reminding myself of that.
