Chapter Seven - Little Truths

Nova. That is the name I gave my wolf after a long moment of debating with her on what name would suit her just right.

I had suggested she answer a part of my name; Ciana, but she vehemently refused. According to her, the name was unattractive and unfit for a rare white werewolf such as herself.

I am finally able to speak to her without voicing my words out loud and making myself appear psychopathic before those around me.

"Why hasn't he come to see you?" Asked Nova.

She is dismayed by the fact that I and Milton have not spoken to each other since we returned to his pack two nights ago.

"How should I know? He is probably busy with some other women," my voice comes off filled with jealousy and I failed to realise that I have spoken out aloud.

"Is that how little you think of me?"

I turn my gaze to the door on hearing a voice that does not go up and down. Milton is standing there, and his ocean blue eyes linger on me for a moment.

"How long have you been standing there?"
