They had all heard the howl this time. The agony and pain in it had torn through their souls, but it was Damon who reacted first.

“Elena..” he gasped, then stood up blindly, ignoring Pascal's mutterings for him to stay down before he was spotted.

But Damon wasn't listening anymore…not with what he had just heard. Every muscle his body suddenly became locked for a second, before finally erupting in rage.

He released a vicious and powerful roar that shook even the trees asking them, and his eyes lit up as his wolf took over the madness and pushed him beyond all reason. Mara, Pascal, and Leo all jerked toward him in disbelief, but Damon didn’t give anyone the chance to speak.

He was already shifted fully, and before the others could react, forward, tearing through the treeline with a speed that was clearly powered by reckless madness.

Mara’s eyes widened in horror. “Damon…damn it…&

  • The Alpha's Despised Omega   CHAPTER 123: The Abominations Unleashed

Elias threw back his head and laughed, a wild, unhinged sound that vibrated across the compound and cut through the lingering smoke and carnage. The sound was inhuman in its malice, cold and triumphant despite everything looking as if he had lost the battle.“You really thought this was the end?” he barked at them, his voice filled with unhinged madness. “Did you think I had nothing left?” He tossed his gun aside carelessly, letting it clatter against the ground. Then, with a surprising calmness considering his earlier antics, he pulled a small radio receiver from his pocket and pressed it to his lips.Damon snarled, baring his teeth as his body tensed, ready for whatever madness Elias was about to unleash. Pascal shifted slightly, keeping one eye on the chaos surrounding them while Mara, still weak and bloodied, gritted her teeth beside him.“I planned for this,” Elias continued, moving with theatrical elegance

Elias didn’t stop laughing. His mad voice swept across the compound…shrill, gloating, and deranged…cutting through the choking smell of blood and smoke that still lingered in the air.“You three look too exhausted,” he mocked, pacing in front of them with delight. “Bleeding. Barely standing. And hopelessly outnumbered. Fighting now would be pointless, wouldn’t it?”Damon’s chest expanded with a low but savage growl. Pascal stayed protectively beside Mara, whose breaths were still thin and ragged. Elena lay unconscious on the ground between them, with her body still trembling weakly from Elias’s experiments.Elias waved a hand toward his reinforcements. Capture them alive,” he ordered with theatrical flourish. “Our new test subjects are ready, and these ones are bound to be…exceptional.”The circle tightened, and weapons were pointed even more dramatically.

Damon didn’t waste a second. He tore out of the laboratory doorway with Mara cradled in his arms and Elena slung over his shoulder. Mara’s blood steadily soaked through his clothes in a steady and terrifying rhythm, while Elena’s limp body convulsed with every step he took. The moment he managed to drag them both outside, Damon felt the anger and desperation inside him reach its boiling point. The compound looked like a warzone as he surveyed it, with bodies scattered across the ground and smoke rising from broken lights. The emergency alarms were still ringing, and it added to the chaos inside his head.Standing in the middle of the destruction, completely soaked in his and the enemy's blood was Pascal. He was breathing heavily, and his arms were trembling in his human form. He had one eye nearly swollen shut, and his clothes were a tattered mess, exposing the many gashes across his ribs. But the moment he saw Damon, something like reli

The battlefield in the inner compound of the VORTEX facility was still raging, and dozens of bodies lay across the compound, with some mangled so brutally that even the ground was covered with their various parts. The outer walls of the main building even bore the mark of the battle….gashes, bullet dents, and smears of blood.Damon stood at the center of it all, covered in blood, and waiting for the next wave of enemies with murderous intentions. His eyes still carried that wild look of a feral beast, and unrestrained power was pouring through him, pushing him to go for more carnage.Another wave of guards eventually stumbled out from inside the main building, trembling as they struggled to reassemble some kind of desperate defensive line. Pascal launched into them instantly, tearing through their ranks without mercy. Mara followed up the attack next, knocking down soldier after soldier with as much as a scratch on her.“Screw th

The blare of the Code Red alarm shot through the laboratory section of the facility like a missile blast. The lights overhead instantly went into a violent blinking spree, freezing dozens of scientists in their tracks.Elias’s head snapped up instantly, angry at the fact that he had been distracted from his current task.“What now?” he growled in annoyance. But before any of the scientists could think of offering him an explanation, the ground trembled below him, sending a few loose tools clattering to the floor.“Someone tell me what the hell is happening,” Elias snapped, angrily turning toward the nearest technician. “Are we being struck by an earthquake? Pull up the exterior feed. Now.”The technician immediately scrambled for the control panel, with his fingers shaking as he tried to override the security lockdown. Before he could finish, the door to the lab flew open, and a terrified guard stumbled inside,

  • The Alpha's Despised Omega   CHAPTER 118: Chaos

Damon hit the outer perimeter like a demon that had broken free from its chains in hell. One moment activities were going on as normal, and then steel suddenly screamed as he crashed into the first armored vehicle in his path. Rifle shots instantly began to ring out as the confused soldiers yelled instructions without actually understanding what was going on.“What the…?!”“HOSTILE CONTACT…SHIFTER…!”“OPEN FIRE!”But it was all no use. Damon was already in motion, a vengeful storm of muscle and fury that was crashing through barricades, vehicles and soldiers as if they were nothing at all. A man went down before he could scream, and another tried to run and didn’t make it two steps before Damon caught him and flung him across the yard like a piece of rag. More gunfire erupted, panicked and directionless.Damon didn’t care. He didn't slow down or even react to them. H
