Author's POV…
Alpha Logan carried Alexa on his back till they got to his horse; she still couldn't recover from the shock, wondering why he would so much as want to carry her.
Simon watched them, unable to make sense of what was going on in Logan's mind. "I will convey her back to our pack on my horse; the rest of you will follow behind closely." After giving his order, Alpha Logan carried Alexa and placed her gently on his brown horse. He climbed on it in front of her and whipped the horse; it trotted fast into the woods. Beta Simon sighed slowly after he left. He got on his own horse and rode away into the dark night, and the two remaining guards followed. As Alpha Logan rode his horse, Alexa kept shifting on it. She wasn't balanced on the horse because she wasn't holding onto anything for support, but Alpha Logan kept riding the horse fast, unaware of what was happening behind him.Related chapters
