Zion wasn’t shocked when she heard what Gabriella’s uncle did. She even had some hair-raising stories of her own to share and Gabriella rolled her eyes.

“Why didn’t anybody do anything?” She sighed, taking a sip of her coffee.

“He was your appointed alpha. Well, sort of.” Zion threw her hands in the air. “He simply told us that you knew exactly what was happening here and that you approved it.” Gabriella looked at Lucienne who was standing there scratching the back of his head.

“And you? Why didn’t you do something?” A soft growl escaped from her as she glared at him. He looked at Zion for a moment and then back at her.

“I wasn’t here. I didn’t know that any of this was going on.” His cheeks turned red when Gabriella asked him where the hell he was.
