Chapter 7: The Destroyer
When I heard a lot of people pleading for mercy, I tried to stay calm. When I saw what was going on around me, my heart crumpled. I cupped my mouth and walked back to our campus slowly. I can't hold it against myself because I didn't want it to happen.
"Are you okay?" Lenox appeared from behind me. He tracked me down using his sense of smell. I responded with a nod, but he didn't seem convinced.
"What transpired?" I inquired, pretending I didn't know anything. This isn't the first time I've done it. When I'm angry, I frequently destroy what's around me without intending to. That is the power of a destroyer.
While Lenox is telling me what happened when I left him, I take a walk with him. He appears overly concerned to me, and this is a significant and priceless factor for a girl like me.
