02~The court is ready for you

Aluma's eyes fling open, her body hurting her that she needed to stretch her bones, but when she attempted to, she realized that she couldn't move her hands. Blinking, Aluma try again but something draws her back, then she heard a voice.

"Quit Trying, you're chained." Aluma seem quite shocked to hear that word, slowly she moved her head to the direction of the voice.

"My name is Lynn" The voice said again but Aluma still can't seem to see the face behind the voice.

She winced in pain with the banging on her head, and next, all that happened was flashing on her mind. She remembered being saved by someone, and remembered crossing the pack over to the other side.

But this dungeon she's on, it was quite familiar. The smell was still there, she was still in their pack! Right in the dungeon where she have been kept. Aluma looked by her right once more, the sun was up already and she could see a female figure, she was caged too. But she was never here, before.

"Did you know what happened to me?" Aluma questioned without a second thought.

She felt strange, like something was missing in her body, like something had happened. Something she couldn't recall.

The only thing she remembers is being accused of the Alpha's murder and then she was thrown to this dungeon, someone had saved her.

Aluma could clearly remember, this person was a female and won't say her name, but she said she trusted her,Aluma. Again, Aluma remembers being chased by the warriors after they've realized her escape, she Ofcourse made it out of this pack.

Seeing herself back in this dungeon was driving her crazy, she wasn't hallucinating right?

"Nothing happened. You've been asleep since they put you in here. What?,You're the one that killed the Alpha?"

Aluma turn her head to Lynn's direction one more time, gritting her teeth in anger. "I didn't kill the Alpha!"

"Ofcourse you don't. I believe you." Aluma's eyes sharpened. The same word her mysterious saviour had said.

Aluma was ready to push these thoughts away and assume it to be a dream, but it felt so real. Something had happened, that can't make her remember what happened.

"You weren't here before." Aluma muttered, looking away from her. Lynn sighed and then chuckles.

"Got my butt thrown in here cause I was trying to save you." Lynn told her.

Aluma swallowed, she was right afterall. It wasn't a dream..

"You were the one that saved me? I remembered escaping, trust me I made it out of this pack. I don't know how I ended up here, again." Aluma felt the needs to cry, so far , no reason but she just wants to cry.

Lynn smiles. "You never made it out of the pack. The Alpha's Beta catch you before you did, then you passed out."

Aluma looks at her for a sec, it felt odd. If Escobar had captured her before she was able to escape, she sure will remember it.

"I can't remember anything of sort happening. My head hurts."

"Just like you couldn't remember killing the Alpha."

Hearing this words of 'killing the Alpha' seems to always drive Aluma insane. She hated it, she hated that she's being accused of something she didn't even know how it happened. But no matter how much she hates it, everyone was gonna say those words to her over and over again. She can't do anything about it.

"You said you believed me." Aluma muttered, it was supposed to be a question but she chose to make it a statement instead.

Lynn didn't reply her immediately, she rested her head on the wall and stare down at her chained hands.

"I knew this day was coming. I foresee it." She muttered, almost to herself but Aluma caught it.

"What do you mean?"

"Your mind,Aluma. It's being tempered with." Lynn breathed and turn her head to face Aluma, whose face was looking pale already.

"You couldn't remember some certain things, because it's not necessary. For some reasons, some things you saw or did, are being kept away from you."

"How did you know this?"

"I foresee it." Lynn muttered again and look away. There was silence between the two ladies for a while before Aluma broke it.

"So you believe I didn't kill the Alpha?... I wonder why everyone else wouldn't believe so too." Aluma chuckles and continue.

"I'm gonna die anyways. They're going to kill me for what I don't know about. I just happened to be at the scene."

Lynn looked at her again, "Alpha Daniel was your mate right?"

Aluma seems taken aback by the question. Perhaps she never expected Lynn to ask such question. Only few people know, and the few people are the Alpha's family.

"Well, I was. But I got rejected by him. Yunno? I'm just an Omega, worthless and useless in the pack. Aria was right there, the lady he loves... And she was a Luna, far better than me."

"Everyone believes you killed Alpha Daniel because he rejected you. But I know you didn't. I'll promise you one thing...."

"Not like a promise will matter now, I'm gonna die today anyways."

"That......" Lynn stops and sniffs , a smile creeping to her face.

"Your death isn't yet marked. Only one of us will make it out of here... And that's you."

Aluma couldn't help it but laugh. Turns her head and look at Lynn. "You're weird."

Lynn never replied, she rested her back on the wall once more and shut her eyes, with the smile still on her face. Aluma looks at her for a while longer and then look away. Lynn was being creepy with all the stuff she had said within this short period of time.

It was like she's trying to act like a moon goddess, someone who decides one's future. Aluma chuckles to herself, perhaps her escape was just a dream... It never happened.

Footsteps soon start approaching the dungeon and Lynn raised her head. "They're here."

Before Aluma could ask who, The dungeon was opened and Aria, alongside two warriors walked right in.

"How did you know?" Aluma couldn't help but whisper to Lynn. But she didn't expect Lynn to reply, and she won't have believe her if she had said any of her creepy stuff, perhaps she had heard the footsteps and guessed who it will be.

"Well, looks like someone made herself a friend. Don't worry, I'll make things easier for both of you, and you'll meet each other on the other side."

Before one could say 'jake' , Aria drag a warrior's sword and dive it into Lynn's stomach. Stabbing her.

"No!!" Aluma scream.

Lynn's poor eyes looks at Aluma as she held onto the sword, whining in pain. "Your journey had just began" she told her. Aria grab the sword again, and took it out of Lynn's body and like a bag of rice, Lynn fall on her Stomach. Her eyes shutting.

"No! Why did you do that!. Lynn, Lynn please open your eyes!." Aluma cried but she couldn't even reach out and touch her, she was chained and Lynn's dead body was far from her.

"Don't worry Aluma. You'll die next and you can get to meet her, you don't have to cry that long."

Aluma breathed and tried to hold back to tears that rolls uncontrollably on her cheeks as she stared at the dead body of someone she had been with for just a minute but it seems like eternity.

Luna Aria was right afterall, she won't have to cry for too long as she'll die next.

But her death will be rather painful. Aluma badly wishes that she could just be killed like Lynn, no torture, no one to spit and call her names. Just kill her right away and she won't have to face the world that had shown her nothing but pain days after days.

"Aria, I'm begging you. I didn't kill your Alpha." Aluma wanted to say this to Aria, but something in her held back.

Hopelessness. There was no hope that her pleas was going to change anything, she just have to face it. Death is right at her door, knocking for her to open up. And she's very close to answering that door and welcoming death with open hands.

At least she gets to stay off this pack and everyone else in it..

"The court is ready for you Aluma. Yunno? It could save you the shame if you could just go on and tell everyone you really did it. Perhaps you'll be forgiven, which I doubt. But you can save yourself, who knows?"

Aluma looks up at Aria with hatred. "I still stand on my words, I didn't kill the Alpha. And I won't say I did when I didn't."

"Good to know then Aluma. It'll be fun to watch you die, slowly."

Looking over at the warriors, they understood the sign immediately and went on to unchain Aluma, grab her up as they exist the dungeon. While they walk away, Aluma forced herself to look at the lifeless body of Lynn one more time.

This time, it felt different. It feels like something in her had just been awaken.

'Anger, thirst for revenge.. and war'.
