03~Saved By An Alpha

"Do you have any evidence or a witness that can save you here?" Aluma shakes her head sideways.

"No I don't." She answered and bent her head, breathing heavily. They were delaying things, she knows there's no way she gets to save herself here, so why don't they just go ahead and made the order?

There was no hope for her, not even a little bit. There's absolutely nothing to fight for, she can never win.

"And how did you plead?"

"Not guilty." Aluma spoke again. There was silence, and then Aria, alongside Escobar was called out.

Throughout whatever that was asked to them, and whatever their reply was, Aluma never paid attention to any. All she was thinking, was nothing but Death. It seems far but still very close to her, waiting for the perfect time. Aluma breathe, trying to calm herself down in all possible ways, but she was filled with nothing but panic.

Her eyes had moved earlier to the field, where she saw the woods and sticks already settled up. Waiting for the final judgement to be made so she can stand in the center on that sticks, with her hands tied to the pole in the middle, and she'll be burnt.

Alive.

She'll never reincarnate if she gets burnt. Aluma understands that's exactly what the pack wanted. Or perhaps what she deserves.

Poor Aluma had a lot she needed answers to. She needed to know why all she remembers was standing right in front of lifeless Alpha Daniel, with a knife stained with blood. She couldn't recall how she had ended up in the Alpha's chambers. It's like everything had happened too fast, too fast for her to recall.

"And here comes the final judgement. Miss Aluma Rodrigo, you are sentenced to death by burning."

Aluma looked down as the people who had gathered , jubilates.

Fair enough. What had she expected? She knew she stands no chance. Aria approaches her, with a smile on her face.

A smile of victory. "I told you Aluma. That I'll make you pay."

Aluma didn't reply, there's no need to. It's meaningless. She was grabbed by the guards and led to the field.

"Kill her! She deserves to die for being so evil."

"Now you get to know what death smells like."

Again, Aluma can't block this hateful comments out of her mind. People are calling her names and screaming at her. Enough reason why she wanted this deed to be done over with.

It's better she's died. Even if she was forgiven and let to stay in the pack. Her life would never remain the same.

Aluma was tied up, and a match box was handed over to Escobar to burn her up. How much Aluma wanted to push these tears back, but it seems this time she couldn't hold it back any longer.

She wasn't ready to die.

She's not as strong as she had thought she was. Aluma still wanted a chance to live, a chance to make things right.

There was things she had never experienced tho, some things she wanted to do so badly. She just wasn't ready to become an ash.

As Escobar walks closer to the sticks, last minute of trying to light up the stick, a voice interrupted them.

"And who dares make a decision without my consent?"

There was silence, and then murmuring as everyone search for who the voice belongs with. But Escobar knew who it was ,immediately.

A dark haired man soon was standing in front of the crowd. Well built and smells of royalty. His very dark eye make him look even more mouth watering.

His shoulder looking so perfect for one to place her head on. Soon, all the ladies was drooling over him.

"Alpha Randy! What are you doing here?" Escobar was the first to speak up.

Aria gritted her teeth in anger, why Ofcourse does he have to show up in the last minute. It makes her insane.

"Oh Thy Esco, who gives you the right to question me in my brother's territory?" Escobar breathed and didn't say a word.

"How awesome it is that no one informed me about the death of my brother. And now, y'all wants to make a final decision. Impressive."

"Randy. She killed your brother, that's why she's being punished." Aria was fast to speak up..

Randy nods and approaches her until he was standing in front of her. "You are my brother's slut, his piece of trash. That you had sort of relationship with Daniel doesn't give you the right to call me by my name. I can kill you right away."

Aria swallowed. And that! Is why she hated him, she knew he was gonna ruin everything. He always has.

"Forgive me, Alpha."

Randy didn't respond, he walked away and stood in front of Aluma who had just been watching the scene.

She hadn't known who he was until Escobar called his name. And she recognized him immediately, he was Alpha Daniel's older brother. And they never had a good relationship, reason Alpha Randy created his own pack.

Rumors had it that he wanted to rule his own pack and not a pack created by his family and ruled generation to generation. So he broke the rules of his Royal family, by dumping the pack and creating his.

Because he wasn't there, Daniel had to take over as the sit couldn't be left unfilled for long otherwise rouges will take over.

"Bring her down." Alpha Randy suddenly said. Shocking everyone to the bone, including Aluma herself.

"But Randy...." Escobar shut up immediately he saw the look on his face. That dark eye already changed to yellow.

Escobar turned and look at Aria, who just nodded. It's not like there's anything they can do to go against Randy's words.

He's no one to mess with.

Escobar motioned on the guards to put Aluma down, which they did. Forcing her to fall on her knees. Randy smiles and bend over at her, touching her face, he pushes her hair back.

"You smell amazing." He muttered and bend towards her neck to smell her.

Aluma's body trembles in fear. She can't bare to be in the hands of such ruthless man like Randy.

His name was almost forbidden from this pack, even his brother feared him.

"I'll take her." Randy suddenly said.

"I'll make her pay for what she did. While you all carry on with your daily lives. I consider this matter closed."

And then, he snaps his finger and three of his guards showed up immediately. Grabbing Aluma up, they took her out of the field.

"But Alpha. Your brother hasn't even been buried or his body burnt. We wanted to revenge him first."

"That's so thoughtful of you Aria." Randy chuckles, and without another word. He turned and walk away.

Everyone knew he was returning to his pack, Randy will never spend more than an hour in this very pack.

"You knew he was coming right?!" Aria questions Escobar as everyone starts going back to their houses, murmuring. Obviously they all have something to say and gossip about.

"Trust me, I had no idea."

Aria breathed. "He's a threat to us. I hate him a lot."

"Don't worry Luna. He won't stay for too long too. I promise." Aria's face seem to brighten up, but she didn't reply. She just walks away, but one could tell... That she was happy.
