BAELA
The cool evening breeze made its way easily through the open window of my room at the top of the Royal castle, as I leaned with both hands on the window base, looking outside at the full moon but in particular looking down hill towards the direction that was his house.
"Baela, you mustn't worry. Everything will be just fine". I heard Aria say as she hovered outside of the window of the castle.
The castle happened to be where my parents and I lived. It also happened to be the palance of the Alpha.
"Yes, I know Aria. I am only worried about the food basket I left in his house".
"How do I explain to my parents that I didn't return with their precious food basket?" I asked anxiously.
"Yes, it is a precious food basket". Aria said, agreeing with me. Her words gave me the nod of approval I needed for what I was about to do next.
"I think I have to go back and get it!"
I pulled myself instantly from the window base I had been leaning on.
"It is late Baela, can't we get it tomorrow?!" Aria asked suddenly in protest. She hadn't thought I would be crazy enough to think of sneaking out of the castle this late at night.
"Yes you are right Aria...it is late and that is why you should STAY HERE. I'll go without you". I said with a smirk on my face.
"No Baela, I can't let you go out there on your own...I am coming with you!", Aria said, as she flew quickly into the castle past me.
I smiled, I knew she couldn't let me go out alone and I had succeeded in bringing her with me.
"I'll look out for anyone in the passageways", Aria said, as she swung in the air. Good, nobody could hear her voice except for me.
"Thanks, I will quickly get my cloak". I rushed to my large closet and picked up my dark cloak. It was perfect for going out at night, as it was a good cover in the dark. I wore it over me.
I looked up just in time to see Aria pass through the wall of my room into the passageway outside of my room. She was indeed gifted. Aside from being my friend and a fairy, I hadn't figured out why she was in my life and she would never leave my side.
I heard her voice call outside of the closed door of my room, interrupting my thought.
"The coast is clear Baela, you can come out!"
That was my cue, as I quickly walked towards the large wooden door and opened it. It was a beautiful door but the old hinge joints of the door gave a squeaky sound as I opened and closed it but I knew no one heard it. Aria always did the best scout jobs ever!
"This way Baela!" I heard her voice from afar from a corner. She was out of sight, so I quickly followed the direction of the sound of her voice.
I could feel the excitement already, doing something I knew my parents were strongly against but then again, it was doing it for a good course - to get back their food basket.
"Someone is coming Baela, stay hidden!". Aria called out, alerting me. I had enough time to hide and I was now close to the helical staircase that would take me to the first floor.
I hid beside one of the many storage boxes stationed at regular intervals in the passageways. The poorly lit passageway of the upper castle gave me extra cover in the dark. I waited in my hiding spot for a few seconds before I heard his feet approaching. It was probably one of the guards making his routine rounds along the passageways.
Inside the city and the castle were relatively safe, the dangers that lay outside the city walls were alien once inside the city.
I heard the sound of his feet stop a couple of feet away from where I was. I didn't expect him to stay long, just a few glances and he should be on his way and as I predicted.
I heard his footsteps turn back and leave in the direction of another passageway and the coast was once again clear.
"Hurry up Baela, you haven't got time!" Aria called from the base of the helical staircase, as her voice echoed upwards. I was on the fourth floor and this was the most risky part of my break out.
Once on the staircase, I had nowhere to hide. If anybody got on it too, they would surely hear my footsteps as it would echo. I had to climb down quickly from it as fast as I could before anyone would notice.
I did, with my heart in my mouth as I descended down the flight of stairs until I was at the base of the staircase.
"Good Job Baela, you made it! We are almost out". Aria said as she hovered in the air in front of me but there was still one last hurdle to cross.
I looked at Aria but she knew exactly what to do.
"I'll distract them while you escape". Aria said, as she flew away towards the side entrance of the castle. It wasn't heavily guarded like the main entrance with 3 guards stationed there at every time.
"I'll stay low and follow your lead", I whispered underneath my breath, as I crouched on the ground waiting for her lead.
Aria had one other ability she didn't use quite often. She had the ability to speak like a voice in people's head, making them think their inner mind was speaking to them. That was the only way she could communicate with others aside from me.
I waited for her magic to start working and soon it did. The werewolves almost immediately all left their post in a hurry.
"That's my cue". I said, as I moved low and fast to avoid being seen.
Aria was already outside the entrance waiting for me. She had once again helped me when I needed her to.
"What would I ever do without you Aria?!" I asked, pleasantly happy as I looked at her hovering above me.
"You can't do without me but we should go...my little trick on them wouldn't work for long". Aria warned.
"You are right". I agreed with her as we made our way down the city in a hurry.
The streets were sparsely filled by this time of night. It wasn't yet midnight but it was drawing close. Werewolves could still be seen walking in the streets, mostly in groups of two or three or like myself singularly. They had their different reasons to be out this late and they paid little attention to me.
I continued walking underneath my cloak towards the direction of his house. I walked past the once crowded market in the day, which was now almost completely empty. From here the light of the full moon illuminated where the one I sought lived.
I could feel my pulse and my heart beat increase. I had never come to his place this late at night or unannounced before. He always knew I was coming but tonight was different.
"This seems completely wrong..." I whispered , as I looked up at Aria, who hadn't left my side for one second.
She seemed to agree with me because she nodded her little head. She was only here because she couldn't watch me go on my own.
"I cannot turn back now. I have come this far not to see this through". I said eagerly.
I had now approached the front of his door as I pulled off the hood covering my head revealing my identity. I waited for him to open the door immediately as usual but the door was still closed.
He must be asleep. It was a sign for me to turn back and head to the castle but I couldn't. I was rooted to the spot and my eyes fixed on the door knob.
I wondered what physical state I would find him in. Would he be asleep and probably naked or would he be in a semi-naked state? Would he be awake inside to welcome me? These prospects enticed me a whole lot.
"Should I check to see if he is asleep?" Aria suggested. She could easily go in and come out through the wall undetected and tell me what state he was in but that didn't really excite me. I loved the uncertainty and I wanted to be the first to see him on my own.
"No". I whispered, indicating I wanted her to stay here while I went inside. I squeezed gently on the door knob as I hoped the door was not locked from the inside and to my greatest joy it opened.
My eyes widened as I pushed the door open slowly and thankfully the hinge wasn't squeaky. I could see the inside of the room partially from the illumination of the moonlight coming in through the window as I got inside. The other half was dark, away from the moonlight.
The room was just as I imagined it would be at night...the food basket was still on the table and I was sure it was empty by now but it was not what I had come for. There was something significant still missing...he was not in sight.
I felt Aria hover beside me and then I heard the door slam shut behind me.
"Oh my God!" I screamed, startled but then he was upon me, as he pushed me to the wall and pinned me against it.
His right hand was pressed against my neck as he gripped me tightly. I could feel his firm masculine body resting against my breast and belly and the fragrance of his naked thorax filled my nostrils.
I loved his touch but it was literally killing me. I was struggling to breathe.
"Abbadon...it is me...Baela". I choked, frightened and suffocating.
"Why are you here? Are you here to kill me?" I could sense the rage in his voice. He was no longer cold, he showed his emotions, he was dangerous....

BAELA "Please..." I begged, suffocating. "Why are you here?!" I heard his voice in rage ask. "For you..." I said, almost with my last breath. I couldn't see his eyes in the dark, as mine started to close and then I felt my feet drop to the floor before collapsing into his chest and arms. He had decided to let go of me but I almost passed out. I coughed harder than I have ever had in my entire life and I was also struggling to catch my breath at the same time. It took me several minutes before I regained my breath and strength. "You almost strangled me to death?" I was surprised and it came out like a question. I was still leaning onto his chest, my head resting close to his heart. "For you". He whispered. His voice no longer filled with rage. He had just quoted the last thing I said and that was why I had come here. We were still together in the dark and it felt cosy but I needed to look into his beautiful eyes. I needed to peer into his soul. "I want to be certain it is r
BAELA I heard a loud pounding on the door which interrupted my peaceful sleep. Oh I was having the most wonderful dream of all. I had to wake up twice in the night to be sure I wasn't dreaming and although I couldn't see him, I was sure I wasn't dreaming...I could feel him! The warmth of his bare body, how fine his toned muscles were against my delicate soft skin. I could feel everything and it felt like I was intoxicated by alcohol. I hadn't yet tried it yet but I have seen werewolves get intoxicated on wine. They felt really merry whenever they did and I felt something similar. He barely moved, as he slept. I needed to be sure he was asleep as I touched his face gently not to awaken him but he moved slightly from my touch. It seemed he wasn't a very deep sleeper or was it because he had been a wanderer for so long and had to watch his back at all times that he had forgotten how to go into a deep sleep? It seemed like the latter, with everything I have gathered about him. I
BAELA The solitude of my room gave me ample time to reflect. Of course I was never truly alone...Aria was with me as always but she was now invisible. She was only a whisper or a call away if I needed her to reappear. I sat on the only singular wooden chair in my bedroom as I looked outside the open window. The rays of the sun were beginning to shine forth from the horizon, although the sun was still hidden underneath. The red, orange and yellow colour of the sunrise looked beautiful in the far distance sky and it reminded me of Lily. Every morning, she would race to my bedroom to wake me up as soon as she saw the first lights of sunrise. She always had new adventures planned for almost everyday. Now that I looked into the beautiful distant clouds adorned with the beautiful colours of the sunrise, I couldn't help but replay my last memory of her... ***12 DAYS PRIOR "ARISE and SHINE!" BAELA Inside of the castle was alive now, as I stepped out of my bedroom door into the passageway. Too alive to be precise. I gave a rather suspicious look at the guard that was standing not too far from my room. There were usually no guards stationed on this floor, they only used to patrol here at night. "Hmmm". I pondered, as I stepped out of my room, shutting the door behind me. I was wearing an attractive all black gown, short in length and above the knee. I also wore matching black boots to complement my black gown. "Could this be the handiwork of my father?" I thought to myself, staring at the guard some feet away. He was standing perpendicular to me and wasn't looking in my direction. There was only one way to find out, I had to ask him. I walked towards him with curiosity before stopping right in front of him. He was a Delta werewolf. Only they could be assigned to this role of guarding the fourth floor. The Beta guards were with the Alpha on the second floor and that wa
BAELA We had all sorts to eat on the dining table. Father made sure it was all arranged for our guest; ABBADON DARGAN. "Abbadon Dargan". I thought about the name a little bit but although it was dark, I liked it. It gave his personality depth and I was intrigued even more by this mysterious wanderer. I barely ate my food as I was more concerned about spending some alone time with him after breakfast. Hopefully father and mother wouldn't object to that. "You should eat some more!" Father said merrily to Abbadon, with a large piece of pork still hanging on his fork as he held his steel cup of ale off the table in his other hand. Abbadon smiled at him, as he picked his food delicately from his plate with his cutlery. Like I said, he had quite the table manners for a wanderer. "You won't be strong this way, if you eat with such grace". "You should be graceful with the ale but not with the food. You will need all your strength for what lies ahead". Father said heartily. I could tell
BAELA I heard the door close shut behind me with its familiar squeaky sound. We shouldn't be here, I knew. I hope I wasn't making a mistake? I hope I don't get myself into more trouble? But he was standing right behind me, clouding my judgement, making me unable to think as I stood rooted on the spot waiting for his next move. It seemed like an eternity waiting for him to act but in reality barely a few seconds had passed since we got in. "I see why you want me in the castle..." I heard him whisper from behind as he walked up slowly towards me. I closed my eyes instinctively, as I breathed out awaiting his sensual touch. Memories of us together before dawn this morning flooding my mind. I know he could read my mind. He had shown me he could just a few minutes earlier and now I was ready to explore with him the heights and depths of my pleasure even though that was not what we were supposed to be doing in here. "The castle is nice and a beautiful place". He said, completing hi
BAELA "Father!" I called out instinctively, quivering in fear, as he barged into my bedroom unannounced but he wasn't looking at my direction. I quickly withdrew my hands and lips that once hung around Abbadon's neck and kissed his lips a second ago. I stood mortified at the spot as I awaited my fathers judgement. I was anxious about what my father was going to do next. "HOW DARE YOU?!" I heard my father growl underneath his words, as he stood at the entrance of the door. It was a low but threatening growl and I could see the rage was beginning to build up in his eyes. How DARE YOU COME IN HERE, to my DAUGHTER'S ROOM and DO THIS?!" Father growled even more. I could see the disbelief in his eyes, as he stood still blocking the entrance of the door. Abbadon and I were both trapped in. Now, I was worried about Abbadon's safety. We had just become lovers and now my new found love was about to be taken away from me...everything was about to be ruined! "Father, please forgive me! I
BAELA I have been sobbing all alone in my room for hours, ever since Abbadon was taken captive by my father; Beta Lorgan. The time was now approaching nightfall and I could not do anything else but think of him. I had refused to eat the lunch that had been brought up to me by one of the Delta guards. I imagined the pain and torture Abbadon must be going through. I imagined if the last I would see of him was from this morning. The day had started out so well and bright and now it was ending on a bad and gloomy note. The rays of the sun that filtered into my room through the glass window some hours ago were now all gone. It was now sunset and I imagined what the beautiful sunset would look like in my head, for I could not see it. Its beautiful colours and its warmth on my skin. It reminded me once again of Lily, how much she loved to watch the sunrise and the sunset and I let my mind wander to her for a moment... *** 12 DAYS PRIOR. "Isn't it beautiful here?!"
