BAELA

The cool evening breeze made its way easily through the open window of my room at the top of the Royal castle, as I leaned with both hands on the window base, looking outside at the full moon but in particular looking down hill towards the direction that was his house.

"Baela, you mustn't worry. Everything will be just fine". I heard Aria say as she hovered outside of the window of the castle.

The castle happened to be where my parents and I lived. It also happened to be the palance of the Alpha.

"Yes, I know Aria. I am only worried about the food basket I left in his house".

"How do I explain to my parents that I didn't return with their precious food basket?" I asked anxiously.

"Yes, it is a precious food basket". Aria said, agreeing with me. Her words gave me the nod of approval I needed for what I was about to do next.

"I think I have to go back and get it!"

I pulled myself instantly from the window base I had been leaning on.

"It is late Baela, can't we get it tomorrow?!" Aria asked suddenly in protest. She hadn't thought I would be crazy enough to think of sneaking out of the castle this late at night.

"Yes you are right Aria...it is late and that is why you should STAY HERE. I'll go without you". I said with a smirk on my face.

"No Baela, I can't let you go out there on your own...I am coming with you!", Aria said, as she flew quickly into the castle past me.

I smiled, I knew she couldn't let me go out alone and I had succeeded in bringing her with me.

"I'll look out for anyone in the passageways", Aria said, as she swung in the air. Good, nobody could hear her voice except for me.

"Thanks, I will quickly get my cloak". I rushed to my large closet and picked up my dark cloak. It was perfect for going out at night, as it was a good cover in the dark. I wore it over me.

I looked up just in time to see Aria pass through the wall of my room into the passageway outside of my room. She was indeed gifted. Aside from being my friend and a fairy, I hadn't figured out why she was in my life and she would never leave my side.

I heard her voice call outside of the closed door of my room, interrupting my thought.

"The coast is clear Baela, you can come out!"

That was my cue, as I quickly walked towards the large wooden door and opened it. It was a beautiful door but the old hinge joints of the door gave a squeaky sound as I opened and closed it but I knew no one heard it. Aria always did the best scout jobs ever!

"This way Baela!" I heard her voice from afar from a corner.  She was out of sight, so I quickly followed the direction of the sound of her voice.

I could feel the excitement already, doing something I knew my parents were strongly against but then again, it was doing it for a good course - to get back their food basket.

"Someone is coming Baela, stay hidden!". Aria called out, alerting me. I had enough time to hide and I was now close to the helical staircase that would take me to the first floor.

I hid beside one of the many storage boxes stationed at regular intervals in the passageways. The poorly lit passageway of the upper castle gave me extra cover in the dark. I waited in my hiding spot for a few seconds before I heard his feet approaching. It was probably one of the guards making his routine rounds along the passageways.

Inside the city and the castle were relatively safe, the dangers that lay outside the city walls were alien once inside the city.

I heard the sound of his feet stop a couple of feet away from where I was. I didn't expect him to stay long, just a few glances and he should be on his way and as I predicted.

I heard his footsteps turn back and leave in the direction of another passageway and the coast was once again clear.

"Hurry up Baela, you haven't got time!" Aria called from the base of the helical staircase, as her voice echoed upwards. I was on the fourth floor and this was the most risky part of my break out.

Once on the staircase, I had nowhere to hide. If anybody got on it too, they would surely hear my footsteps as it would echo. I had to climb down quickly from it as fast as I could before anyone would notice.

I did, with my heart in my mouth as I descended down the flight of stairs until I was at the base of the staircase.

"Good Job Baela, you made it! We are almost out". Aria said as she hovered in the air in front of me but there was still one last hurdle to cross.

I looked at Aria but she knew exactly what to do.

"I'll distract them while you escape". Aria said, as she flew away towards the side entrance of the castle. It wasn't heavily guarded like the main entrance with 3 guards stationed there at every time.

"I'll stay low and follow your lead", I whispered underneath my breath, as I crouched on the ground waiting for her lead.

Aria had one other ability she didn't use quite often. She had the ability to speak like a voice in people's head, making them think their inner mind was speaking to them. That was the only way she could communicate with others aside from me.

I waited for her magic to start working and soon it did. The werewolves almost immediately all left their post in a hurry.

"That's my cue". I said, as I moved low and fast to avoid being seen.

Aria was already outside the entrance waiting for me. She had once again helped me when I needed her to.

"What would I ever do without you Aria?!" I asked, pleasantly happy as I looked at her hovering above me.

"You can't do without me but we should go...my little trick on them wouldn't work for long". Aria warned.

"You are right". I agreed with her as we made our way down the city in a hurry.

The streets were sparsely filled by this time of night. It wasn't yet midnight but it was drawing close. Werewolves could still be seen walking in the streets, mostly in groups of two or three or like myself singularly. They had their different reasons to be out this late and they paid little attention to me.

I continued walking underneath my cloak towards the direction of his house. I walked past the once crowded market in the day, which was now almost completely empty. From here the light of the full moon illuminated where the one I sought lived.

I could feel my pulse and my heart beat increase. I had never come to his place this late at night or unannounced before. He always knew I was coming but tonight was different.

"This seems completely wrong..." I whispered , as I looked up at Aria, who hadn't left my side for one second.

She seemed to agree with me because she nodded her little head. She was only here because she couldn't watch me go on my own.

"I cannot turn back now. I have come this far not to see this through". I said eagerly.

I had now approached the front of his door as I pulled off the hood covering my head revealing my identity. I waited for him to open the door immediately as usual but the door was still closed.

He must be asleep. It was a sign for me to turn back and head to the castle but I couldn't. I was rooted to the spot and my eyes fixed on the door knob.

I wondered what physical state I would find him in. Would he be asleep and probably naked or would he be in a semi-naked state? Would he be awake inside to welcome me? These prospects enticed me a whole lot.

"Should I check to see if he is asleep?" Aria suggested. She could easily go in and come out through the wall undetected and tell me what state he was in but that didn't really excite me. I loved the uncertainty and I wanted to be the first to see him on my own.

"No". I whispered, indicating I wanted her to stay here while I went inside. I squeezed gently on the door knob as I hoped the door was not locked from the inside and to my greatest joy it opened.

My eyes widened as I pushed the door open slowly and thankfully the hinge wasn't squeaky. I could see the inside of the room partially from the illumination of the moonlight coming in through the window as I got inside. The other half was dark, away from the moonlight.

The room was just as I imagined it would be at night...the food basket was still on the table and I was sure it was empty by now but it was not what I had come for.  There was something significant still missing...he was not in sight.

I felt Aria hover beside me and then I heard the door slam shut behind me.

"Oh my God!" I screamed, startled but then he was upon me, as he pushed me to the wall and pinned me against it.

His right hand was pressed against my neck as he gripped me tightly. I could feel his  firm masculine body resting against my breast and belly and the fragrance of his naked thorax filled my nostrils.

I loved his touch but it was literally killing me. I was struggling to breathe.

"Abbadon...it is me...Baela". I choked, frightened and suffocating.

"Why are you here? Are you here to kill me?" I could sense the rage in his voice. He was no longer cold, he showed his emotions, he was dangerous....

PRINCESS DAENA ROSSIA few weeks had passed since I last updated you. Myself, Alpha Abbadon, Alpha King Marverick, Queen Esther, Beta's of the Aurora clan pack, werewolves of the Dark Wood Pack, werewolves from all of the 7 werewolf packs of the south had all made their way up not with me for my grand wedding with Alpha Abbadon in the north. My father; the Alpha King had taught us a safe way of crossing the Great Mésis sea and that was at night, the least favorable time for a sea journey. We had crossed with well constructed boats and it was aire enjoyable ride than the first instance we had crossed.Because of our large size, numbering into the thousands, we were at no risk of wanderers attack, instead they all avoided us as a plague. Because he had more freedom to travel during the day and night and also in our werewolf forms we spent only 2 weeks in the woods before we got to the Aurora clan pack. The city guards did not almost recognize us because of the large numbers we had retur

BAELA"You must have had a lot of time to think about the question I asked you, tell me do you have the answer now?" I asked Alpha Abbadon. I looked at him intently. One time he had fooled me in believing hw was in love with me when I had everything and when I lost it all he dumped me like I was nothing, now I had to be sure I wasn't making the same mistake twice over again."Yes Baela, I have and it has kept me awake all night". Alpha Abbadon said. As he was about speaking I heard footsteps from behind walk into the garden, it was my parents as I turned to look at them behind me. Seeing the state Alpha Abbadon and I were in, they stopped so they won't interrupt us."Like I was about saying Baela, it kept me awake all night and I can show you that I love you more than words". Alpha said reaching core my hands and holding it."I willed you to life Baela when everyone thought you were dead bit you had only faked your death and run away. I could not live with myself realizing you had kil

BAELAI walked back to Alpha Abbadon into the court and all eyes were once again upon us. Everybody was staring as I was the star of the occasion but I was not alone, I was with Alpha Abbadon which obviously had tongues talking. We had had our first dance together and had stepped out together all in their view. Something must be up between us they must suspect, although I guess it was common knowledge already. As I looked across at my parents at the distance, I could see the suitors from earlier talking with my parents. As I understood when they introduced themselves to me earlier, some of them where from the Dark Wood Pack, while some others had come from the other 7 werewolf packs in Gaiamania. Alpha's were also amongst them. I wonder if they had convinced my parents they were right for me but haven't spoken to my parents about my wishes to get married to the man I love and choose I know they won't go on my back on this one."Welcome back Princess Daena. I was just talking about y

BAELA I sat on my throne besides my parents as my father, Alpha King Marverick officially introduced me to the entire Dark wood pack as he lost but found daughter Daena Russo. All those in attendance all cheered and even those on the streets and after ward the party continued. Werewolves one after the other came to congratulate me and my parents as I sat on the throne. They also came bearing gifts, gold, sliver, diamonds, even precious clothes. I saw many fine young and charming werewolves who would give Alpha Abbadon a strong contest for my hand in marriage and they all seemed pretty interested in me because i was beautiful and the daughter of the Alpha King and Queen. My father was tired of seating down as he asked me for a dance, my first official dance with him. Luckily for me, I grew up in privilege back at home and I had dance with my parents a couple of time, so I knew how it was down. I danced so elegantly to the admiration of all watching and to my parents delights. Even A

BAELAI didn't know what to make of the whole situation as I was confused. Alpha Abbadon refused to look back at me and I thought probably he was angry with me because I mislead him. All his attention was fixed on Alpha Long Marverick and Queen Esther."I AM SORRY FOR LEARNING, YOUR DAUGHTER HAS BEEN MISSING FROM HOME FOR AGES. I APOLOGIZE FOR THAT, I DIDN'T KNOW BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU"."IF YOU WOULD TRUST ME AND GIVE ME A MINUTES TO TALK TO MY PACK OUTSIDE OF THE CASTLE, I CAN GET TO THE ROOT OF THE MATTER". Alpha Abbadon said. I could now understand his behavior for not looking back at me in the heat of the moment. He didn't want to rat me out, instead he was trying to protect my identity and take the fall for it."CAN'T YOU PLEASE TELL US NOW WHO THIS PERSON IS? PLEASE, I AM DYING TO KNOW THE WHERE ABOUT OF MY MOTHER, LIKE ANY LOVING MOTHER WOULD. PLEASE HELP ME!" Queen Esther begged.I was moved by the scene in front of me with the Alpha King holding her steady on her feet

BAELAI was caught between a rock and a hard place and I had to make a decision fast. I was looking at Alpha Abbadon as he was staring at me back. "If I told you, I would sound crazy believe me". I said to him, looking away. I didn't know how to start,so I told him that instead."If you told me what exactly. I have seen alot not to think you are crazy but as crazy as whatever you are about to say it, they have usually come true, so I will believe you". Alpha Abbadon said to me.I looked up at him to be sure he wasn't just pulling my legs. He sounded and looked genuine but could I tell him about Aria before he passed the test? I don't think that is a good idea. I had to stall him at until dawn tomorrow."I know you would believe me despite how crazy or outrageous what I am about to say is but I want to make a promise to you, I'll tell you soon". "Please do not compel me to tell you now I beg". I pleaded with Alpha Abbadon. He looked at me carefully without saying a word, he must be
