Astrid’s POV

The moon goddess was standing before us tonight. Her celestial light was like a dying star. Her light was bleeding— silver. And on the other hand, Sebastian stood opposite her.

I stood between Sebastian and the moon goddess, or should I say I am supposed to stand between them, but my feet were stuck to the spot where I stood. My feet didn’t move because every part of my body didn't know what to do anymore, so I just stood, thinking within my spirit.

I was torn between

Saving him or

Stopping him or

Beg him to remember who he was before losing himself to dark powers.

I finally came to accept that Sebastian was different; now he was no longer the man he had been.

He was a different person wearing Sebastian’s face.

His gaze shifted to me as he called me.

“Astrid.” He called softly. His voice was too soft, dangerously so, sending a chill down m

The world felt like it was ending slowly The first sign is the silence. Not the peaceful kind. The wrong kind. The kind that settles over the pack like a held breath.Sebastian walks beside me through the east corridor of the compound, his shoulder occasionally brushing mine. He’s solid. Warm. Real. Too real for the way my chest keeps tightening like something is missing.Or worse—Like something is watching.“You should still be resting,” he says, glancing at me. “You’ve barely eaten.”“I’m fine,” I lie.I’ve been saying that for two days.Ever since I woke up.Ever since the dream refused to fade the way dreams are supposed to.We turn a corner——and I stop.Sebastian takes one more step before he realizes I’m no longer beside him.“Astrid?”I’m staring at the floor. At the pattern carved into the stone.A crescent intersected by a broken circle. My stomach drops. That wasn’t here before. It couldn’t have been.I saw it in the dream—etched into the ground the night the earth split

Astrid’s POV The forest became still I stayed drowning in my own tears until my eyes couldn’t produce tears any longer. The moon goddess has gone back to her world, the immortal realm. The rift had gone, the veil across the sky that gave access to those from the immortal world to penetrate through to our world has gone and the night has once again become silent. It was as if nothing had even happened in the first place. With the moon goddess gone, the alpha god gone, the First LUNA gone as well, and most importantly Sebastian was gone. He was gone too. Not dead, but gone. It immediately dawned on me that I have to look for Sebastian, he must be somewhere around and possibly wounded too. I stood up immediately as I began searching the forest calling on to Sebastian’s name hoping and praying he could hear me and even answer me. After searching for a couple of minutes that looked so much like hours, I was beginning to get tired. The world was ending. Everything felt like i

  • The Alpha’s Rejected Mate Was The Stolen Werewolf Princess    Chapter 68

Astrid’s POVI quickly stood in front of Sebastian standing as a wall between Sebastian and the moon goddess. I was determined to put a stop to whatever madness this was.My wolf instinct screamed for me to leave the battle to Sebastian and the moon goddess, but I was not going to listen to it, at least not today.Sebastian’s presence was so strong. He had the aura of an immortal god. My knee became too weak to carry me due to Sebastian’s dominance. My wolf howled against my decision as it was torn between submission and loyalty. This has gone on for too long. This was indeed my longest night.Sebastian growls in his chest and it was more like a warning. He was warning me to stay away.“Astrid,” he called my name and it felt like poison in my ears.“Move away!” He said with a very thick voice with restrain.“I won’t.” I said boldly, “I’m not leaving you.”The moon goddess looked at us with a cold celestial look.“Are you still going to shield him after what he has become?” She aske

Astrid’s POV The forest had now turned into a battleground for Sebastian, and the moon was peaking through the clouds. There was a great storm, like a tornado, and the world was drifting apart. Dirt from the ground was flying around due to the storm, the kind of storm that would make packs scatter, wolves would run wild, and even Lycans would flee. But I stood in the storm as I stand, my legs frozen to the spot. My knees trembled and shook as Sebastian, the boy who once laid down his life to save me, that same boy Sebastian, is here trying to destroy the very moon goddess who created our world and werewolves. The one who is responsible for our very existence. Every instinct in me was screaming for me to save Sebastian, but my Luna-blood bond whispered differently, telling me to stop him. My wolf Maya is now crying as I can feel her heartbroken. Sebastian, whom I had come to love, has now become a monster in his own flesh. The moon goddess slashed him across his nose, an
