Chapter 101

Layla's POV

Wedding bells were ringing as the pack began to get used to their new abode. Although the sinking feeling of danger still lurked in the air, they knew that with the fact that they had been able to survive the recent trying times, they would be able to survive anything else, and that was all they needed: faith.

“Luna, the Alpha is here to see you.”

I looked at the maid who walked in, and I nodded towards her as she walked out of the room after saying that. There was no need for her to say anything since she knew that if she asked him anything, he still would, and there was no reason for him not to come in.

“My love.”

“Is Brian sleeping?”

“You were supposed to check on him, didn’t you?”

“Well, you’re his father.”

“And?" He came up behind me, and I could not help but feel his hot breath on the back of my neck. I was on edge, and I knew it, but for a good reason. I sighed deeply as he wrapped his strong arms around my waist.
