“Happy birthday Ahsoka,” Nico whispers in my ear.

The patio has all sorts of decorations with porch lights strung up on the pergola and there is a beautiful cake with roses on it. The sun is setting, making the lights even more beautiful as they sparkling in the night. The whole family is here, including Jackson, Jayden and my guards. There is a table full of wrapped gifts.

“You guys really didn’t need to buy me anything. You already gave me a family and that is more than enough for me.”

“Nonsense, this is your first birthday that you are actually celebrating so we are going to celebrate it properly,” says Kateri as she embraces me. Nico sits in one of the patio chairs and pulls me to sit on his lap. He moves his finger in circles on my back as Kateri hands me one of the presents.
