Ace’s eyes soften, a dashing smile spread across his face, “and I…”
Stunned by his charming looks, Petal blinked, feeling faint blush dusted her cheeks. She snapped back to reality and quickly shoved the notebook to Ace.
“Y-you choose from there and I’ll write it down,” Petal said, lowering her head to hide the red on her cheeks as she rummaged for a card and pen.
“How about this one?” Ace smirked, holding the notebook up with one hand, and pointed to one of the quotes.
“Which one?” Petal was right across the counter and couldn’t see all the clear, so she leaned on the counter and peered at the notebook.
“When I’m with you, my days feel brighter, you’re perfect to me-I love you," Ace recited the line, slightly shifting his body around the counter and close to Petal.
