ALPHA DARIO POV

A gentle knock on my door made me raise my head from my desk that had different maps, and scouting reports laid on it. "Come." I said in a loud voice and returned my attention to the status report that had just arrived.

I felt my heart racing as I read the report.

The Zuzkies have broken through our defenses. We suffered lots of casualties. So many humans are dead and some werewolves in the army too.

We are trying to rally up as many as possible, all who are not injured, who can stand or ride on a horse and chase after them.

They will reach the city by sunrise in five days
