Jake cleared his throat, “you know what I think?”

I placed my underwear in the suitcase, “no, tell me what you think.” I’m packing for my trip to the Rockridge pack to try and find my mate as he leaned against my door frame watching me, “don’t hold back now,” I chuckled.

“I think this is all fake on your part,” he walked inside my room and shut the door.

My brow arched as I pulled out a few pairs of jeans from my closet, “fake, how so?” Sometimes I hate the fact we’re so close, he knows what I’m thinking before I do, and it makes me sick.

I closed my suitcase and turned to face him, “you don’t think she is do you?”
