Chapter 22: First day on the job
The next day.
I wake up and get dressed in the best clothes I must go to work. Although I am not in the mood to go to work with everything that has happened to me, I gather strength from where I have none and leave with a few dollars that Mr. John gives me.“You only must walk a short distance to find the bus stop.
