Chapter 9

Avery's pov

After few hours, we finally arrived at Devon's pack. It was not as large as silver wood but it was quaint and homely.

" I hope I made the right decision" I pondered internally and sighed.

" Come " I snapped out of my daydream after Devon called out to me. I placed my hands in his as he lead us into the pack house.

" Welcome Alpha" a middle age woman greeted curtseyimg gently.

"Anna , this is Avery, can you please show her to the room after mine"? Anna looked up at Devon in shock and confusion.

" Your quarters ,Alpha"? She asked taken aback.

" Yes Anna, I'm sure you heard me the first time".

" Come with me " she says, looking towards me. I followed her with my little duffel bag like an headless chicken. We arrived at the last floor, which had three bedrooms.

" This is your bedroom, the last one down the hall is Alpha Devon's, don't trespass"! She warned lightly.

We stepped into the bedroom assigned to me and I gasped out loud. It was large with huge windows on either side.
