Chapter 28

Wolfe's been on edge ever since his werewolf senses discovered that an imposter visited our nest and it became even worse when another girl's body was found near the town in the woods about four miles from our cabin.

Icedale as we knew it changed and from there, police began patrolling the town and forests surrounding it. Three days later there was another victim, all the same, they had their uteruses ripped out and one of them had her throat slit.

There was a pattern which meant a real serial killer was on the loose and it creeped me out, but I didn't worry because I had a werewolf for a boyfriend, so I couldn't be safer. I only wished there was something that could be done and that someone caught the killer. I knew that was in Wolfe's ability, but he refused to meddle in with that because he also hated the town. I didn't blame him for that, because he got separated from his family thanks to them.
