I opened it, and we were inside a castle-like place with towering walls and dimly lit corridors. The air was heavy with an eerie silence, broken only by the faint sound of distant footsteps echoing through the halls. As I looked around, I couldn't help but feel a shiver run down my spine as the cold draft brushed against my skin. The flickering candlelight cast haunting shadows on the ancient tapestries that adorned the walls, adding to the sense of foreboding that hung in the air.

"What is this place?" I asked Charles, my voice barely above a whisper.

Charles smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief. "This is the mansion where everything started. I was surprised that Roger's worst nightmare is related to these places. He said this, smiling mischievously.
