Worry

The second day of being a Kindergarten teacher has been completed by Calista, she has just finished accompanying her students waiting to be picked up. And like yesterday, Giovani still hasn't been picked up by his parents so Calista will accompany him until Giovani's parents come to pick him up.

"Do you want to play with the teacher while waiting for you to come home?" Invite Calista.

" I want to." Giovani exclaimed happily.

Calista also invited Giovani back to the class so they could play together, at least that would keep Giovani from feeling bored while waiting for the invite to arrive.

From what Calista saw while playing with Giovani, the kid wasn't so naughty if you looked closely. Maybe all this time his naughty attitude was a form of curiosity that he wanted to be noticed by many people.

"Gio, can I ask you something?"

" Sure." He replied with a nod of the head.

"Gio, why do you bother Gio's friends in class?"

"So they can play with Gio."

"But you don't have to be bothered by your friends, you can be taken care of."

" My dad never talks nicely at home, I just see what daddy is doing."

Calista was suddenly surprised to hear Giovani's confession about this, so it's true that his father didn't educate Giovani like other children his age.

" Gio's daddy." Before Calista could continue her words, the sound of a knock on the door made her immediately look back.

Apparently Giovani's invitation had come, he was the man yesterday who picked him up and that man was Giovani's own father. Calista observes his formal appearance like an office worker, what Gio's father usually does until his own son imitates his behavior.

" Be careful on the way, ok." Calista said after delivering Giovani to his father.

"Thank you teacher, we're sorry." Papa Gio ejected while leading him to the car parked outside.

After watching them leave, it occurred to Calista to find out about Giovani's parents to madam Sara. It didn't take long for her to walk towards the principal's office.

"What's wrong Calista, it's time to go home but why are you still here?" Asked madam Sara after Calista entered her room.

"I want to ask something that keeps me thinking so loud."

" What's that.?"

Calista also explained it clearly to madam Sara about her worries for Giovani. Starting from his character who is very naughty and likes to seek attention, then about his parents who always make Calista curious. Then madam Sara looked for the book that kept all the student data at the school.

“In Giovani's personal data, he is the son of a husband and wife who work at one of the largest jewelry companies in Paris. This data also states that Giovani is their only child, it would not be surprising if he was not cared for by his own parents seeing that they were so busy with the many businesses they had." Obviously madam Sara.

"But at least they can give the best to Gio, poor him."

"It's not wrong for me to give this job to you."

"What do you mean madam?"

"You deserve this job, you care about them and try to make them feel happy to be studying at our school. I can only thank you Calista.”

"It's okay, I'm also happy to be able to work at this school."

Tonight Calista and Becky will eat out, they meet at a fast food restaurant location after work. At that time, Calista had arrived there first, and while waiting for Becky to come, she was busy playing with her cell phone.

“The gangsters from the Sicilian group are always rebelling in our city.”

"True, there have been many victims of their crimes."

"The police are also useless in this case, they still rebel even though there are many reports about them entering."

Calista glanced at two men who were discussing something, she didn't understand their discussion but for some reason she was also curious. Even though she had been following the latest news developments, why didn't she understand what they were discussing.

Becky just came and apologized for being late. Finally, Calista was able to order the food that she had been putting off because she was waiting for her niece to come.

“You know about Sicilian gangsters.?” Calista whispered very carefully to Becky.

" I know." Short answer.

" What? How do you know? I just don't know anything about it."

“They are a group of gangsters who are quite famous in Paris. It's no wonder you don't know them, you're a newcomer here.”

"Are they really that dangerous?"

“Of course, anyone dealing with them will end tragically. Even the police give up when they have to deal with them, basically the law doesn't apply to those gangsters.”

"Unfair, those who do evil but they are immune to the law."

"That's it, therefore don't deal with gangsters or mafia in this city."

"What's the difference between a gangster and a mafia?"

"Hmmm, how do you explain it? “

"The Mafia is a more secretive group and has a lot of extensive networks with important people joining them." One of the visitors who had just told about the Sicilian gangsters was forced to explain after hearing the conversation between the two of them.

"Is there anything like that in this town?" Ask Calista.

“ Of course there are, they are bigger than Sicilian gangsters. Their group name is Black Dragon, but until now no one knows where they live.”

"Then how do we know that they are a group of bad people to avoid ourselves dealing with them?"

"Usually the gangsters or mafia have marks in the form of tattoos on their bodies, be it on their hands, necks, or other body parts."

Enough discussion about gangsters and their mafia that day, Calista and Becky will focus on enjoying their dinner that is already on the table. Working all day makes their stomachs ask to be filled with delicious food like Meuniere.

A very bright morning to start a new activity, Calista just arrived at school and went straight to class to greet her students. Today is Friday, Saturday and Sunday tomorrow will be her first day off after becoming a Kindergarten teacher.

For that today Calista will teach them something more exciting, how to attract children's attention is to do fun learning. This has been understood by Calista for the past few days.

The arrival of the students was warmly welcomed by Calista at the classroom door, one by one they entered and took their respective places. Calista was also surprised by Leon's arrival, who was escorted by his mother. It turned out that Leon had been allowed to return to school by them.

"My teacher is entrusting Leon."

"Okay ma'am, I will keep an eye on Leon today."

Calista returned to counting her students and there were nine of them in all. Apparently Giovani had not arrived yet and made Calista have to wait a little while for the child to arrive.

It was time for lessons to start, but until now Giovani had not come. There wasn't even any notification about the kid whether he was coming in today or not.

Because she had waited too long and the children inside wanted to start class, finally, Calista closed the door and assumed thatGiovani was not present today.

**

The first holiday that Calista has been craving has finally arrived. Currently she can relax all day at home, enjoying food leisurely while watching television broadcasts. Even though it's only been a few working days as a Kindergarten teacher, it feels like a worker for decades who needs a lot of vacation schedules.

Calista's cellphone just rang indicating an incoming call, she grabbed her cell phone and answered the call quickly. Apparently the caller was Becky who asked Calista to bring her the file that was left on the table in the woman's room.

"Even though I just wanted to relax." Calista complained that she had to do it or Becky would kick her out of the house.

It didn't take long for Calista to get ready, she just went to the room to get a jacket and then went to bring the files that Becky had asked to be delivered.

The journey to the office where Becky worked took quite a long time, she had to use a motorbike to avoid traffic jams. One of her neighbors happened to be free so she asked his neighbor named Ben to take her to Becky's office.

"Becky's office is very far, I love my gas." Ben complained.

"I'll replace it later." Calista replied while showing her wallet.

"Okay, go." he answered swiftly.

Arriving at Becky's office, apparently the woman had been waiting for Calista to arrive at the front. The file was also given to her, but before leaving Calista asked Becky in return to pay compensation for Ben's gasoline that had been used during the round trip later.

"Don't you have the money to pay for it?"

"You know I've only been working for a few days, my salary hasn't come out yet."

As a result Becky took out the money and gave it to Calista, after which she had to go back into the office for an impromptu meeting which she had to attend immediately.

" Here is the money." Calista gave the money to Ben and made him smile with satisfaction.

"Are we going home now?" Ben asked glancing at Calista.

" Of course." Calista replied that she wanted to continue her leisure time at home.

**

On the way back home, Ben's motorbike suddenly broke down and they had to stop on the side of the road. Calista scolded him and immediately told him to fix the motorbike.

The sun was currently shining very hot and making the weather even hotter, Calista rushed to find a shade while Ben went to find a repair shop to fix it.

"I don't want to go home, let me go." shouted the boy and managed to escape from the man who was about to take him away.

Calista had heard the child's scream and turned her head, she stood up with a surprised look when she recognized the figure of a boy running towards her.

“Giovani.?”

" Teacher."

Calista managed to catch Giovani and immediately carried him, then the figure of a man chasing her was none other than Alvero asking very politely to return Giovani to him.

"I don't want to go home, I'm scared." Giovani said hugging Calista's body very tightly.

"Gio, your papa is waiting at home let's go home soon." Get Alvero again.

Calista tried to understand the situation for a moment, why Giovani was around here and why he was so scared to go home. Yesterday he didn't go to school, seeing that his condition was fine meant he wasn't sick.

“Excuse me sir, let me speak to Giovani for a moment. I'll bring him to you later when he feels better." Calista said then forced Alvero to let it go.

Calista put Giovani on the chair where he was sitting just now, then she tried to look at Giovani's messy hair.

"Why don't you want to go home?"

"Daddy bad, he wants to lock me in the room when I come home."

"Gio listen to me, you have to go home now. Your parents must be worried, they love you, that's why you can't play carelessly."

"But home is hell, I don't like being there."

"Yesterday, why didn't Gio go to school?"

"Daddy can't let me go to school, he locks me in the room."

"Maybe Gio has done something to make daddy angry, that's why Gio is being punished by daddy Gio."

"Bad daddy."

"Bad daddy."

Gio kept repeating this until he was annoyed and screaming hysterically, Calista was confused but Alvero came back by forcefully bringing Giovani back into the car.

Calista was actually curious about what had made Giovani like that, she couldn't ask Alvero because the man wouldn't let her talk.

Before getting into the car, Calista saw a sign on Alvero's hand that was shaped like a snake. Suddenly Calista remembered something that made her feel suspicious.

Calista could only see the car carrying Giovani with them. The snake tattoo made her wonder if Alvero was a gangster or a mobster? But if that's true, then Giovani is having trouble at home.

"Calista, I've finished repairing my motorbike, let's go home." Said Ben who had just arrived.

Maybe this isn't the right time to find out everything, besides, Calista doesn't have the authority to interfere, especially with no evidence to reveal everything.

"Let's just go home." Calista said as soon as she was on Ben's motorbike.
