The Basement

Chase’s POV

As soon as I left Carmen’s apartment, I drove down to the basement to see the young boys.

She had almost gotten me there when she asked how I knew about her apartment, and I didn’t have a choice but to lie to her.

I just needed to be at the basement so that I would feel better. There were a few things that healed me and made me feel better when I was feeling this way, and the basement was one of it. The only person that knew about the basement was Terry, and he had kept it a secret, just the way I wanted.

I created the basement about two years ago when I became more successful. That was something I had always wanted to do so badly, and as soon as I did, I created it. It was a private lesson ground for the young boys in the streets who had ambitions and goals, especially in any kind of sport.
