Chapter Nine

Mike was sitting across the table staring at Lisa as she savored her food. He couldn't still believe he was sitting here with Lisa In a fancy restaurant. He had tried for six years but failed. Lisa wasn't even aware he existed back in college.

"What have you been up to lately?"

"Up to?" Lisa wasn't sure what exactly he was asking. The question was very confusing like the professor's questions when she was still in college. "I don't quite understand"

"Alright, where are you working?"

"That's a big company" Mike's jaw dropped but he was quick to close his mouth. Even though he has never met any of the Delevonte, he has heard a lot about them.

"Do you know that they are one of the leading company in the state right now"
