She could taste the barbecue sauce in his mouth, or was it hers? She couldn’t tell.

He was a good kisser. She was taken aback for sure by his sudden gesture, hesitated even but before she knew, she was kissing him back.

It was a crazy move, one which she knew was outlandish. She was out of her mind, kissing her friend like this. He tasted good, she couldn’t help it as he placed a hand on her waist before he propped her up on the dining table.

“I’ve wanted to do this for so long.” He groaned inside her mouth, “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this.”

She was out of breath, their tongues fighting for dominance over each other. as she dug a fistful of hand into his black curly hair. She wanted more, it was crazy but she wanted more.

Aiden almost screamed for joy, as the woman he fantasized a lot about getting naked was here locking lips with him.

Chapter Fifty-one—Lies..it’s all lies(2) The international business summit. The one time Justin felt the most fulfilled, not the Forbes ball, not wining an award, not by the amount he got paid every month. Just the summit, and the speech he has to give. Belinda was effective, returning with a new suit from Armani which she claimed was hard to get with his measurements and all, she had to bribe the sales attendant just to get a custom suit in his size. He was satisfied with the result as he stared at his reflection in the mirror, hoisted at the far end of his new office. He liked what he saw. “Let’s go Belinda.” He muttered, checking his watch to see they only had an hour left. The drive to the grand hotel was only thirty minutes away and he definitely didn’t want to be late. Belinda, famished and tried from the errand she just ran blinked, “Sir??” “You’re coming with me.” He muttered, brushing past her as he made for the exit. She would ra

He ignored the looks, and the murmurs, and the soft giggles as he trudged past rows of cubicles towards the elevator, and to his office. The ever indomitable Justin Santiago, walking through with a huge dab of pistachio cream on the lapel of his suit jacket. It was a pristine suit too. Two of the new interns couldn’t help but snicker to each other when he joined them in the elevator. It was a dreaded ride, around two Nineteen year olds with nothing better to do with their time—they wouldn’t lose if he fired them on the spot. The old him would’ve fired them on the spot. The elevator door opened to the top floor and Belinda shot up to her feet, “Good morning Mr— “Keep the pleasantries,” he cut her off abruptly, holding a hand up, “I need a new suit.” The International business summit was in a few hours and he was a guest speaker at the event. Chapter Forty-Nine—A clear misunderstanding “Burn the flowers” “What?” “You heard me,” Gianna said to the housekeeper, “I want you to burn the flowers.” The new housekeeper wasn’t sure why her boss was so mad, it was a recurring thing these past few days. Gianna stormed off and into her room, where she dropped her purse on the floor. The night was quiet, too quiet, not after her whole world had been torn apart. So she let out a scream. A screeching sound that almost rendered the poor housekeeper deaf for days. She hurled her purse across the wall, nicking the innocent painting of a flower vase above the headboard by the side. Then she panted heavily, she needed that. She took him for a lot of things. A narcissist, a workaholic, a psychopath, a stalker, a betrayer. She never for once took him as a cheater. It shouldn’t hurt as much as it was but it did. She didn’t care how much she was crying over it, over a man she ha

Chapter Forty-Eight—Spun lies “You knew he was married didn’t you?” She just had to ask. Summer, surprised by the question simply shrugged, “It was clear your marriage was headed for the rocks,” then she flashed Gianna a smile, “You can’t blame a woman for trying can you?” “I can’t.” Gianna replied. She was shattered on the inside, fighting her possible best to keep a composed front. Hell be damned, before she let Summer Henshaw get the pleasure of seeing her all distraught and heartbroken. “Why are you here Summer?” Gianna finally asked, “After all these years. Why are you telling me this now?” “No reason,” Summer shrugged again, crossing her legs now, “I just wanted to let you know. In case you ever think of—- “Getting back toghether with Justin?” “Exactly.” It was as Gianna had predicted, the woman was clearly protecting her turf. A clear primal show, telling her to back off. It was a pathetic and cruel thing to

Chapter Forty-Seven—A past infidelity THREE YEARS AGO(Months Before The Divorce)… Justin had just returned from his trip in Belize, a hectic business convention and headed straight for the bar, with Mason and a couple of other CEOs. He was tired, wanting nothing more but to get back home and have a good night’s rest. He frowned deeply, staring at his phone ringing again. It was the umpteenth call from his wife, who was on the brink of being overbearing. They’d had an argument right before his trip, about moving away which she voted vehemently against. “It’s only a matter of time before she storms in here,” Caleb, one of the aspiring CEOs who’d just granted a huge funding for his cause chuckled softly, looking down at Justin’s phone, “Women am I right?” Justin frowned, staring at his untouched glass of beer, “That’s my wife we’re talking about. I’d appreciate it if you tread with caution.” Caleb Mcloi rolled his eyes. He was a nasty lot, known

Chapter Forty-six—The hostile takeover(2) A few minutes after Julian was escorted off the premises, Justin finally wiped off the smug smile on his face and entwined his fingers together. They might have voted him out, rid him of the weed that plagued his company, but they also agreed to a meeting —one which was to result in him stepping down from his position. “You’re all on thin ice.” He said, hinting a note of clear warning, “As from today, SAN Limited will no longer be known for it’s dubious practices. There will be integrity on this panel, and if any one has an issue with that then they can tag along with Mr Julian.” There was silence in the room, each stakeholder evading contact as their heads sunk low in shame. He wanted nothing more than to lash out on their greedy selves, get them all of the panel. He needed them, which was why they were still hanging on like stray dogs on leashes. He predicted Julian’s next move. Whilst the crafty director wa
