“What do you want??” She snapped, already tired from the events of tonight. All she wanted was to wrap herself in blanket and let the darkness envelop her.

She pursed his lips, for the first time in a very long time Justin Santiago was a nervous wreck. Right now he was standing in front of the woman, the one person responsible for his sleepless nights, the woman who haunts his dreams. He gulped hard.

“Ohh spit it out Justin,” she snapped again, her tongue carrying nothing short of vain, “What is it? You want revenge for my speech? You’re going to threaten me with a lawsuit? Let me have it.”

He wanted to call her beautiful, that was all he wanted to say, he wanted to compliment and say she was amazing tonight. These were words he never said to her during the course of the end of their marriage, despite her former housewife status.
