Amelie’s POV

Tiff is in California with Samuel, how very interesting. I haven’t talked to her since the wedding. With everything happening, I just haven’t had time to reach out to anyone. I’m so glad Kimmy and the gang invited themselves over tonight. Now, Nathan and I are lying in bed watching TV with Biscuit lying between us.

There is a knock on the door.

“Come in,” Nathan shouts. The door opened, and it’s Logan.

“What’s up, Logan?” I asked.

Biscuit immediately runs to the edge of the bed, Logan comes forward to give him pets, and in return, Biscuit gives him sloppy kisses.

“Umm, I was just wondering if, maybe, like..” Logan stuttered out and ran his hand through his hair. “I mean, can Biscuit sleep in my room tonight?”

“Absolutely, sweetie,” I told him. “Any time you want him, just let us know, OK?”

“Thanks, Amelie.” Logan turns to leave with Biscuit in his arms.

I lean over to Nathan. “Go with him and check if he’s OK,” I whispered.

“Hold up, Logan,” Nathan said. “Let me help you
