Chapter 55: You’re A Liar

Ajax stopped when I constantly yelled his name, and the minute I grabbed his hands, he withdrew them away from me while keeping his searing fire eyes on mine.

I was experiencing pain just as a result of him staring at me as like he was passing some kind of judgment on me. It is the day that I've been waiting for all along, and it's finally here. I could still hardly remember the days when I ignored that particular thought, and now he already knows about it. I could still barely remember those days.

I kept his attention by grabbing his hand and preventing him from leaving. On the other hand, his cold eyes, which seemed to be criticizing me, cause me a great deal of discomfort.

He muttered, "Did I hear it right, Livia?" while anger could be seen in his eyes. "Did I hear it right?" He repeated as if he want me to answer it right away.
