His mom is hard not to resist. She became a huge supporter of me when I was still young since somehow, I liked fashion. His mom treated me like his own daughter and for some reason, it pains me seeing and knowing she’s pleading with me to come.

“But what the hell am I going to wear? He told me one minute before the ball!” I muttered in such worriedness in my voice.

Janice raised his eyebrows. “It’s fine! We can work on that. Did you forget I’m the best designer in town?”

Due to what my friend have said, I rolled my eyes out of nowhere and then sat down on her bed. “As far as I remember, the last time I wore the dress you made, it suddenly had a malfunction which made me a laughingstock for everyone so no, I’m not going to wear that!”

My best friend only laughed and then sat down beside me. She was crossing her arms whilst wiggling her eyebrows as if she was trying to convince me even if I already said no.
