Quarrel in the Middle of a Party

Luna came down the stairs accompanied by John. The guests looked at John and Luna. Some whispered in praise of the girl's beauty, but there were also those who insulted because they felt that Luna was the girl who deliberately wanted to entangle John because of his wealth.

"I believe that girl not only loves him but is also eyeing his wealth." A woman in yellow whispers to her lover, slandering Luna.

Casandra held back her laughter when she heard the woman's words earlier. She was quite amused because some of them hated Luna.

"The girl is even about the same age as her daughter." A man behind Casandra starts talking about Luna with his best friend.

"What a poor girl," Casandra said quietly, with a smile disdainful of Luna.

Luna just looked down at him, waiting for John to introduce her as his future wife.

"We're getting married next week," Lucas said.

Luna was shocked and unable to accept that she had to give herself to John so quickly. She looked at John with hatred.

Barbara didn't want to miss the opportunity to introduce herself, so she smiled as she approached Luna. Barbara stroked Luna's head with false affection, then said, "I am Barbara; Luna's her mother. We are very lucky to have a future son-in-law like John, and I hope he can love our daughter as much as we do."

Harry didn't want to take the opportunity to introduce himself. He chose to ignore his wife, who was calling him. "What a shame."

John glanced at his future mother-in-law. It seemed unhappy to know the woman's true nature, and that really embarrassed him.

Casandra, come here." She called Casandra, who turned to avoid her instead.

"Mom just embarrassed me," Casandra said quietly, rubbing her neck. Now their gazes were on her.

"Are you hungry?" John asked Luna.

"I have eaten, but I do not know why. I can eat all the food that's in this house," Barbara said. She misunderstood because she thought John had offered her a meal.

John glanced at Barbara, after which he ignored her. He looked back at Luna. "Baby, eat with me."

Barbara became annoyed after learning that John's earlier offer was not intended for her.

Luna glanced at her mother, who was now going to find her father, and not paying attention to her surroundings, she was surprised when John kissed her left cheek. This girl slapped John in the face, but the man had caught her hand and then kissed it. Luna was panicked and embarrassed that they were now looking in her direction.

"Don't do this anymore," Luna said, holding back her anger.

Some of the guests who saw her thought that Luna and John did love each other, but some believed that Luna was deliberately sweet in front of them to cover up her play.

"Don't embarrass me with that attitude of yours." John whispered as he stroked Luna's right cheek.

Luna chose to ignore John. She stayed away from the man, but John followed suit. This girl glanced at John. Their gazes accidentally met. This girl immediately turned her gaze forward. "I want to be alone."

"I'm afraid there will be men who will tease you," John said.

Had John been Luna's dream man, then the girl would not have refused him. She couldn't resist the fact that John was actually a handsome and romantic man.

This girl almost ran into the white-clothed man in front of her. Fortunately, John stopped her footsteps immediately. "Sorry."

"No problem," the man said and then went to see his best friend, who was in the left corner.

"Baby, what are you thinking about?" John asked.

Luna was surprised after realizing she was now in John's arms. "Let me go." Luna's voice made everyone look at her.

John smiled and then spoke to them. "She was just surprised."

Those confused by Luna's attitude, who seemed to hate John so much, now believed John's lies. They again enjoyed the party.

John immediately pulled Luna's hand. He dragged Luna to his study, after which he locked the door.

"Why did you bring me here?" Luna panicked because this room was dark and there was only her and John.

"Can you be polite at my house, especially in the presence of my invited guests?" John almost screamed out of his anger at Luna's attitude, which always tested his patience.

Luna backed away for fear that John would hurt her. "I don't want to be with you, and you should have known that this party was going to be messed up because I was definitely going to embarrass you."

"Shut up!" John pointed his index finger at Luna's face. The girl was stunned. "If you want this marriage to be annulled, then you have to pay your father's debt. Tonight, I want you to hand over the money."

"What?" Luna didn't expect John to collect debts and set a deadline for repayment until tonight.

"Don't say so much; if you can't pay for it, just follow my wishes."

Casandra looked around her. She was looking for Luna, who was invisible to her. Although this girl wanted to embarrass her. "Mother, where's that girl? I didn't see it."

Barbara looked around her. She didn't see Luna either. "I'm sure she's with John. Ignore it." Barbara continued to pick up the food on the table. She took all the food available until it filled her plate.

"Is this woman from a remote village? She seems to have never seen such a good meal at this party." A woman in black is now staring sarcastically at Barbara. She is not alone. There was her female best friend as well, who satirized Barbara.

"It's possible," the female companion said.

"Who are you guys talking about?" Barbara put her plate on the table and then challenged the two women who had dared to insult her.

Both women chose to ignore Barbara. They were about to pass, but Barbara pulled their hair instead, so that the two women screamed.

"Let go of me! This crazy woman has hurt me." This black-clothed woman tried to remove Barbara's hand from her hair.

"You guys have to apologize to me!" Barbara shouted. She managed to pull the hair of the black-clothed woman's best friend. It turned out that the hair was fake.

"It's so embarrassing," Casandra said, staying away from their argument.

Everyone is now watching Barbara, who is fighting. They retaliated against each other until their clothes and hair fell apart.

"I am the owner of this house because soon my daughter will marry John," Barbara said smugly as she attacked her two enemies.

"I believe you have sold your daughter. She couldn't possibly marry a man like John." The black-clothed woman shouted.

"Did you say?" Barbara was no longer able to contain her anger. She picked up her shoes, intending to hit them with

Casandra searches for Luna in her bedroom. This was her chance to repay Luna's treatment of her, but she stopped when she heard a voice in the locked room. She knew the voice was Luna and John talking. Casandra, with a sly mind, immediately looked for a way to lock the room. She came up with the idea of closing the keyhole with a pin that she carried with her at all times. Casandra laughed and then left after successfully carrying out her evil plan.
