“What is it?” Anne asked, curiously.

“How do we get her to hear Sorin out?” Kelvin asked, and right then, it dawned on her that it was going to be a hard task convincing me.

“You know I never thought of how difficult it's going to be, convincing her.” Anne said, staring blankly at the wall.

“But you're her best friend. I thought it would be easy to convince her.” Kelvin said, and hearing what he had just said, she shot him a stern look.

“Are you even listening to yourself?” She asked. “If it was so easy, why don't you go and do it yourself?” She hissed, a bit upset.

“I'm sorry. I just thought it would be an easy task for you since you're her best and only friend.” He pointed out.

Anne sighed tiredly, “If that boss of yours had not been such a difficult and insensitive person all this while, it would have been a simple task. But where do I start from? What do I even begin to say?” She grunted, getting frustrated.
