He could not find the right words to defend himself and so, he was caught unaware. He never would have thought that he would ever be in a situation where it would be hard to save himself.

"Why aren't you responding?" Kelvin asked him, but he was still quiet.

""Oh!" Kelvin exclaimed as the realization hit him. "You love her, don't you?"

Sorin raised his eyebrows to look at Kelvin. "Love who?" He asked, "You must be out of your mind to think that." He coughed dryly as he spoke and got up to get a bottle of water from his mini refrigerator.

As he gulped down the water, he hoped in his heart that Kelvin was going to change the topic and say something else, but he didn't.

"Are you going to keep drinking the water?" Kelvin said, teasing him, and he immediately dropped the bottle on his table and resumed his seat.

"So tell me, you love her, don't you?" Kelvin began again.

"Can you get serious for once! I just told you that isn't the case." He responded.
