“Mummy, mummy. You are back.” Alessa heard Aria’s voice. She snapped out of her thoughts and stared down at her.

“Yes, baby. I am back,” she replied.

Before she was about to ask about Aiden, she saw him running down the stairs.

“Mum. You are back, you are back early. Why?” he asked as he got to her. Alessa raised her brows, What’s with his question?

“Yes, I am?” she asked waiting for a response from him. All he did was shrug.

“Okay, I am free for the day so let's go out and have fun,” she said. Her kids gasped and cheered happily.

They barely go out, and Alessa has always hidden them from the public. She has her reasons though.

“Go get their jackets,” she ordered one of the maids in the living room. The maid bowed before heading up the stairs.

“Where are we going?” Aria asked.

“Anywhere you guys want. We won't be back until dark so we have a lot of time to do anything,” she assured them and they smiled happily.
